Back in the year 2004, Jay had a knee surgery that put him under for many hours. After he woke up, he was not the same man! It took over a year to recover physically but his brain was never the same. His skin became pale seemingly the day after surgery and his hair turned pure white. He seemed distracted and disoriented. This was not the Jay Kordich I have known since 1980. Within just 10 years of that experience Jay has become 100% incapable of walking due to the problems with the knees and with his motor skills. We have become financially strapped keeping him at the elder care facility, forcing us to sell our home and all of our precious valuables. Now we are looking to get Jay out of the care center and back HOME so we can get proper physical therapy for him and nursing care so he can learn to walk again. Once he does this (which can take up to a year) I believe he will be functioning well. I have purchased a home for us that is wheelchair designed so that I can bring him home soon! We had to move to a very small town in Wisconsin in order to buy a home but it's prepped and ready for him! We miss him so much and need your help. Even if it's just a dollar or a hundred dollars every penny counts. Thank you for your support! Jay needs it desperately.

Jay Kordich's life story 2010

I feel for anyone who has been bedridden by a surgery; it's truly terrible when that becomes permanent. I hope he can get the money needed to move him out of the facility.

...On a somewhat related note, why is this in the food section?
