Eyeing this...

I'm too lazy to use charcoal every time I grill, even if it can turn out better.

A smoker, on the other hand. Now that's something I intend to get at some point.

I love Weber products...best results I have ever had...my current BBQ is a Weber

Yes they are, was looking at a Weber on my last replacement NG grill- went with Napoleon - cast iron griddles - works great. Looking at a pellet smoker, perhaps later this year if we do indeed move to NS.

I loooove BBQ, come back to the east... :2razz:

We hope so - Daughter -SIL have their house up, ours will be up in 2 weeks or so. Hate to sell and they did not. Grandkids ya now.

Cast iron.

Don't EVER let it get wet, at ALL, and make SURE to clean it very very very well after each use. Else it'll be a rust bucket.

yes well, if that works for you go for it...in the end, where you live doesn't matter much, how you live is what it's about and how you live has to do with the people in your world

Biggest issue I ever have with small grills like this, is they tend to have sub par metals. They advertise being light, easy to carry, which for me = will warp and be useless after grilling about 30 times.

I got sick of having to buy a new charcoal grill every 2-3 years, so I made my own. Cost me about 180 bucks, from the scrap yard. Stainless steal (which IS expensive, mind you), no welds, assembled the pieces with corner brackets held in with nuts and bolts (ARP brand), and I bought the actual grill part from a Jen-Air catalogue online. That gril part is the only well made piece on most grills, the rest is crap. I've been happy ever since, and that has been 7 years of service, and I grill year round, and I never cover the thing.

I am from PEI, my wife from Montreal. People are friendlier on the east coast.
Have relatives in the Halifax area, and PEI. We will in all probability rent, then spend more time traveling.
Gotta get that in as they say the last 10 years of life a person is ill. lol

I would like to get into smoking, as well.

4.7 stars on 970 reviews - not bad
looks like a decent little meat cooker
Bought it. I'm excited.

Got it from Walmart. Amazon, even with my Prime, was $130-ish. Walmart was $86. Too much of a price difference to ignore.
