the lunch thread

One of my nuclear beef/onion/pepper/mushroom wraps

my parents' home made chili.

two Morning Star corn dogs w/ mustard
blue corn tortilla chips w/ Pace bourbon and apple salsa

So, I had some ground beef but no hamburger buns.....

So I made a hamburger wrap sort of thing. Lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, beef, etc. There are some serious perks to working from home.

healthy choice tortellini
multigrain artisan bread

#1
Wrap: mayo, lettuce, tomato, bacon, ground beef (Grilled, then chopped).

#2: Leftover chicken, brown/red/black rice, peas.

Had a roast beef sandwich from Arby's.

egg salad on wheat
sour cream and onion baked lays

burned 8 million calories moving to the new house today. lunch was Fazoli's.

1/2 baked spaghetti
1 bread stick

Leftover pasta (mix of edamame linquini, squid ink spaghetti, whole wheat linquini) w/ a garlic-heavy tomato-meat sauce (onion, mushroom also). Spicy, of course.

Double Wopper from Burger King along with cole slaw.

Have a leftover chicken breast so I'll probably make up some sort of burrito wrap for second-lunch

chili made with garden tomatoes
artisan multigrain bread

lemon ricotta pancake oatmeal
150 cals

saving up the cals for tonight's belated birthday dinner at my parents' house.

I had a 8 piece Shrimp platter from Long John Silvers along with fries and slaw.
Okay...okay I had cup of soup as well.

Had some relatives visiting us so I took them to a hotel buffet.

I had: tuna and salmon sashimi with pickled ginger. Caesar salad. Spanish tapas (fried calamari, sauteed mushrooms and fries). Roast beef and turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce and buttered veggies. Tempura and Japanese fried rice. Ice cream for dessert.

EDIT: so this means Im skipping dinner for obvious reasons.

I don't eat breakfast or lunch... i kinda snack on stuff all day then eat a big dinner.

I start with a small banana and apple smoothie in the ninja thing then eat some almonds and fruit and maybe some health crackers with hummus and cottage cheese here and there...

I might not eat anything at all til the afternoon, in fact...

I get bored eating the same type of cuisine so I go for variety. Is that a crime in Kiwiland or something? :2razz:

Just reminded me of my brother... We would order Chinese and he would pile the special fried rice, then top that with sweet and sour chicken then pile on on Mongolian beef then the wanton crackers and then some moo shoo pork into one huge pile and start shoveling it in his mouth. Said it all ends up in the same place so why bother separating it.

Have you had fried cuttlefish?

Like fried calamari but with an added little cruch from the developing cuttlebone. Think squid popcorn.
