Fox host says he 'hasn't washed hands in 10 years' - BBC News

Fox News host Pete Hegseth has confessed on air that he has not washed his hands for 10 years because "germs are not a real thing".

Speaking on Fox and Friends, Hegseth said the infectious micro-organisms did not exist because they could not be seen with the naked eye.

This guy graduated from Harvard & Princeton? What did he major in - gym?
 
Man, make sure and get ahead of that guy in line for the pot luck lunch at fox. It would also be a great idea to avoid his cassarole.
 
I mean technically he has to be washing his hands at least once a day when he takes a shower/bath, right?

Does he ever shower? Kind of hard to not wash your hands in the shower. Bet he voted for Trump.

It's Fox and Friends. It is a documented fact that this is where Donald Trump gets his news. From someone who doesn't believe in germs. Is this not a problem for you?

This is news? Talk about 1st world problems. If people actually knew what was living on their hands and living in their bodies, they would die of an apoplectic seizures. You could wash forever and never get rid of a large part of it.

That said washing your hands is a good idea simply to remove surface contact stuff and reduce chances of the stuff you pick up though out the day from growing, or getting a good toe hold in your system.
 
I'd never heard of Pete Hegseth before this thread and am not sure why he was being "provocative"/attention-whoring, but he's an interesting fellow with greasy hair. B.A. from Princeton and Master's from Harvard in public policy. Bronze Star. Executive director of two vet groups, one funded by the Koch Brothers. PAC he created was accused of spending improprieties, and there was a nepotism issue too. Also an on-air axe-throwing incident. Pete Hegseth - Wikipedia

He said it because he does not like the prudent people who use hand sanitizer.

and there it is clearly written that washing hands is the most important rule.
