Do something about the fact that vBulletin has an epileptic fit every time I post an article and the html isn't recognized. This is a recent problem.

People are hurting out there.

This only began to be noticeable about 6 months ago. Was never a problem (that I noticed) before that.

Apostrophe/hyphens and quotation marks are the triggers. Not only for C&P text, but also for original text.......sup wit dat?

I've actually taken the time to go through my articles and manually reinsert those hyphens and quotation marks just so the quoted articles don't look stupid. And taking the time to do that makes me feel stupid, so it's a lose-lose scenario.

Just be an irritating anklebiter who never starts their own threads, problem solved. Bonus points if you try posting early in threads with some crummy joke or another to try and farm likes.

The escape characters so that the following symbol is not counted is being put up in the title, instead of properly translated.

I can’t edit them out; I have started using the space bar, but the content looks like hell.

What technically should work is copying and pasting the article in notepad, which should remove the html code. I’ve done this, reposted the article in DP, and blammo...the bad html is back. WTF?

Ok... when you type things and print things, there are characters that has special meaning, such as the pound sign and the apostrophe. To format things, what happens is that sometimes, and 'escape' character is created so that the ' character is ignored for formatting things, and is taken as a literal, rather than as something that should be counted as in pairs , such as quotes. So, they put that character in front to give the computer the instruction to make it look normal, rather than count it as part of a pair of quotes for example. The automatic formatter for getting the title is getting in the way, and misinterpreting things.
