I just spent a long time writing out a reply, only to destroy everything, including all of my notifications. I can see who 'liked' my posts through my profile, but for the life of me, I can't tell who the other guy or gal who quoted me is.

It's also quite common that I want to look at a reply, but do not want to respond at once. Is it not possible to store quote notifications? It's very rare that I actually feel like answering something imediately. I like to think about things before I respond, let it stew . . . give time for the 'ol lizard brain to shut the hell up and let the few brain-cells I have swimming around do the talking.

I'm going to feel really silly if there's actually some site feature that I'm simply overlooking.

Did you return to the thread and click "reply to thread" again? If you do that soon enough, you'll see "restore saved content" (or something like that) in the bottom left of reply window. Click on that and much of what you typed may still be there.

On my display there's a row of choices including one called 'Quick Links'. It drops down a menu that includes 'who quoted me'.

Quick Links - Who Quoted Me. It doesn't highlight your unread ones, but it shows the list.
