Very Conservative
Right now the options are:

Centrists
Conservatives
Constitutionalists
Fascists
Green Party
Independents
Liberal/Progressive
Modern Whig (?)
Socialists
Libertarian

I think we have much more diversity than this on the board. First of all, what is the Modern Whig Party? Secondly, we need to differentiate neo-conservatives and populist conservatives. Might I suggest an addition of traditionalist? Maybe even an option for populist? And how about an openly Communist user group?

Frankly I feel kind of funny still using the libertarian group, but I don't want to go to the default group with the hammers. I don't think that this has ever been changed in my nearly 10 years here, so it would be nice to see some updates to these groups.

Well IMO conflating "Liberal" with "Progressive" is a misnomer.

It should be Socialists/Progressives IMHO.

There are significant differences between socialists and progressives. Socialists want to do away with private property. Progressives are more like Teddy Roosevelt.

I guess it all depends on what one considers to be Progress. Some "socialists" seem to just want to do away with profit.

IMO 21st Century Progressives have little relationship to T. Roosevelt's "Bull Moose" Progressives.

They seek more government regulation, doubling the minimum wage, universal healthcare entitlements, etc. To pay for it all? Increased taxes on certain segments of society, "borrowing," etc. The bottom line though? Use the force of government to make everything "equal."

I'll add this to my list of things to do in the next 2-3 weeks. I don't see the need to add as much as clean these up.
