Yeah, it IS a dumb question, I admit it, but I still would love to know the answer anyway.
What do the gavel icons above a member's avatar represent?
They start out all silver and start to turn gold. What does the color change represent?

In that post Schweddy says you can change your user title, but that feature is now only available to donors. As I understand it from the last discussion on that topic. Just a heads up.

While this thread is still open, perhaps in addition to being able to switch them to donkies or whatever, we might instead switch the gavels to pints of beer?
