Two things...

What is the reason for these posts that have a title only with no OP? Apparently done by bots? What is the payoff?

How is that possible? No place to report. No OP. If I tried to post only a thread title, I couldn’t.

Just curious. Maybe the answers are proprietary...?

The one that prompted this was posted in the Law and Order forum just a few minutes ago. Since I clicked on it, it is no longer on my New Posts thread. And pulling up the Law and Order forum doesn’t show it. So either it has already been deleted by Mods or it doesn’t show up by design. So can’t post a link. Perhaps it shows up on your New Posts screen. Look for a Law and Order post.

I get spamming when there’s a link to click. Do you know what their payoff is? Or maybe our system just stops them from POSTING a link. What’s odd is that the system takes a new thread with a title and no actual OP. AND that there’s nowhere to report...

I wondered that but figured everyone knew but me!

They act as if auto generated, and auto deleted. IE, the silent war between the bots!

the bots are trying to post links to scam live streaming sites. we nuke them as soon as they appear. it is highly recommended not to ever click on one of the links that they post.

I saw them too. Different user names but basically the same, title and nothing else. Figured the mods were on it.

Many times, the spam link is located in their member profile -- "home website URL".
