Sir, would it be at all possible to increase the image size allowed for sigs?
 
Please no.

Images in sigs are annoying. Sooner or later some jerk puts one of the blinking, causes epileptic fits images there and then posts a million times in every thread.
You see that crap over and over again.

If you like an image that much, make it your avatar.

Words only for sigs please. Even allowing bold and colored fonts gets rather annoying.

Well I just tried at and you cant use gifs in sig pics so theres that at least

That's good, but I'm still against any image in sigs. It wouldn't be long before somebody'd be putting really offensive, racist, nazi, ..... crap there.
 
I'm with the others. No, no, please no. Some people's sigs are already ridiculously long as it is.

While I have no preference one way or another on the thread request, to those worried about signatures, you always do have the option to turn them off.

UserCP -> General Settings -> Scroll down to Thread Display Options

It's what I do. Just helpfully offering it as an option in case you aren't already aware.

Rookie here, have seen the option for turning my signature off. If I understand your post, what is the procedure to turn off incoming signatures?

Follow slyfox's instruction. Click a box. Presto...all signatures past, present, and future will disappear from your view as long as you're logged in. Until you click that box again.

I totally agree. I've never liked signatures, they just distract from the content, in my opinion.

There is one in particular that if baffling to me for one who thinks they are far superior to the unwashed posters. They ask not to reply until they have a chance to edit their post. Must have a different set up than me. “Preview Post” is where I get a chance to see what my addition to the discussion will look like before it is posted!

If it were up to me there wouldn't be any pics in signatures to be honest. Can you imagine trying to read a thread where half the posters have pics in their signatures? Sorry, but the size will remain the same.
