I am wondering if we can have a finance section of the forum where we can discuss business, finance, technology?

For the time being, I'd suggest the above. If you want to discuss something financial or business related, I'd suggest doing so in "Economics" for the time being. If you want to discuss something technological, perhaps Science & Technology. Both are sub-forums of Academia in the Non-Political section.

We're not looking to engage in any significant rework of the forum layout at the moment, however when the next instance of that comes around we keep these kind of recommendations in mind in order to try an identify locations that may be heavily requested or are likely to see heavy traffic.
