Okay, Daylight Savings Time this weekend, but I can't get an accurate time from my general settings, or anything else. Everything I click is either 1 or 2 hours behind the actual time. Am I just stupid or is something else going on??

I justed posted from a Windows 7 computer, and the timestamp seems accurate in my case.

Hmm... let's check this setting.

Now this one...

Finally! I had to take off DST auto, then use Mountain Time instead of Pacific, but the post time is finally correct, lol!

It may be that the zone in your machine isn't working. I have a GPS in one of my cars that switches a couple of weeks off. I never updated the DVD after the law changed some years ago.

You can change it from a dos cmd prompt if you're using windows 7 or similar. Shouldn't be necessary, tho. Is your date correct?

Thanks so much, for the response. Yes, my computer time and date is correct. I always have trouble with the time on my posts being correct for some reason. Last fall, I had to use Alaska time, lol! This time I had to use Mtn Time. Clearly I've screwed something up in my control panel, but I obsessed enough about it last night, so I just put a bandaid on my CP, got my post time to be correct, and will forget about it until... next fall!

Oh, that's something else. Sounds like you are being perceived by the network as being somewhere you aren't. Maybe there's a way you can use that to your advantage.
