A few months old, but well worth reminding ourselves of:

When is it OK to call people Nazis? When they're Euro-sceptics – Telegraph Blogs

A former Belgian Prime Minister, Guy Verhofstadt, has been quoted thus:

"The ultimate consequences of identity thinking are the gas chambers of Auschwitz"

Previously Margot Wallström, a Swedish European Commissioner (should it not be Commisar?), who after commemorating the anniversary of the liberation of the Theresienstandt concentration camp is quoted thus:

"There are those today who want to scrap the supra-national idea. They want the EU to go back to the old purely intergovernmental way of doing things. I say those people should come to Terezin and see where that old road leads."

On top of this, fuhrer van Rumpuy has openly advocated one-world government, EC President Barroso has boasted of an EU 'empire', and Jaques Santer was reported as once saying that going back to such a premise, as promised to the peoples of Europe, was a bad idea.

Hysterical smear and demented hubris? That's open debate and accountability to the People - EU style!
