Borderless (2019)

I mean be real.

You could at least say no, or yes to the premise and then be done with it.

I engage meaningfully in most threads that have an actual point, topic or purpose. 98% of your posts are flaming, distracting and gaslighting. I'm surprised you haven't accused anyone of being an Eppstein supporter in this thread yet. You're slipping.

Do you watch videos posted in threads by random people with no opinion or purpose? Have you nothing better to do with your time?

Someone's a little grumpy today.

If this thread is so irrelevant and purposeless, why did you bother to invest the energy in disparaging it? If it's really as redundant as you apparently believe, I'd suggest you leave well enough alone for your own well-being. Unnecessarily engaging in negative redundancy is never good for a person's mental wellness.

How about this. I do like the idea of us being a country without borders, I really do.
But I know full well that it will never happen in my lifetime.

We should not be borderless and should instead should work to govern ourselves meaningfully with our neighbors.

Maybe, when humanity has done something extreme. Like expanded to the stars, could we even begin to see the chances of a totally unified land appear.

What you've described is actually the exact opposite of the conclusions that the documentary draws; instead it explores the crisis of immigration that has gone on in the last decade and the ways in which everyone is hurt by liberal approaches to asylum seeking and breaking down borders except for criminal people smugglers. It's a great, insightful piece albeit a depressing one.

Essentially it calls for stronger, more effective borders.

Oh I've see how bad immigration gets. I was brought down as one of the doctors to help interview immigrants back before 2007. They have some pretty, severe and depressing horror stories to tell.

But yes, we need to keep our borders strong.

with the policies they do endorse, including release illegals into the country, paying for illegal immigrant healthcare, no walls and cutting ICE staff, they may as well. everyone can see they want to, so badly.

It is considered good form to add your personal observations, arguments and/or discussion to a video as presented.

Especially if the video is large and far ranging.

You are virtually saying "watch this video but I cant be bothered to say why".

If you actually watch it, you'll find that operating from your own ignorance is a very poor course of action and diminishes your credibility.
