This is too funny. First Merkel snubbed Trumps G7 invitation, which made him snap and now her ministers declined an invitation as well.

Looks like our government has come to the conclusion that Trump can completly be sidelined now.

It appears Merkel gave up on the idea to get a working relationship with Trump and chose to simply ignore, humilate and snubb Trump whenevee possible. This could get very amusing.

And just like that Democrats again do a 100% reversal on social distancing and group gatherings. Back and forth - even on the same day. Whatever they figure hurts Trump because intellectual integrity is STRICTLY banned in the Democratic Party.

Merkel visits EU commissions, holds speeches infront hundreds of people.

Only when trumpo invites, she says covid 19 :D

Merkel trolls Trump in a master way and i love it.
 
What the gleeful tit-for-tat OP clearly fails to see (or mention) is that it would be highly hypocritical for a government to visit another country, when its own health authorities have not only issued a travel warning wrt to that country, but, for the time being, have closed the border to any visitors from there.

Merkel being of the scientific mould, her propensity to work in a rational manner rather than in childish temper tantrums precludes her from actions that are anything other than adult.

That's where she differs from the OP completely.

I agree. Trump already is political dead in most of the world.

I find it an interesting time though because it shows that USA is not that dominant anymore. Apparantly you can ignore an US administration.

it doesn't matter who they elect in November most of the sanctions aimed at Germany and Nordstream 2 is coming from the Democrats ... they are determined the EU & Germany ends al trade with Russia in favour of American trade ... they think that the EU should do as their congress legislates
