Unfortunately you're wrong yet again as the security agenices have stated what the threats and figures are. Northern Ireland (still part of the UK) has always had the highest security threat levels - that doesn't fit neat little "left / right" boxes and neither does Islamic / Jihadi terrorism. When you come to simple politics then you get to left/right extremes and they are broadly similar.

Sinn Féin are , and have been , the political wing of the IRA. Sinn Féin are hard left.

You need to read a history book. It was Fascism that started in Italy but the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei was founded in Germany in 1920.

The Holocaust and Nazi Germany are mandatory topics within their national curriculum as early as what we call ninth or tenth grade. From my understanding, it is not taught as a "we lost," but with a point to understand how and why Germany went down this path and what happened while it was on it. I had a German professor once who said that they had to pull back on the curriculum at one point because it began to manifest undue responsibility in future generations, thus resentment.

It's a little like the American South learning about the Antebellum period and the Civil War in High School, but not quite. For one, Germans don't seek to celebrate that period through statues and raised swastikas.

It often had a negative effect. When you push it to far, people dont take it serious. In my class we started to laugh about it and joke.

For most people it simply plays no role. I honestly give a **** about it. I want personal sucess, be happy with my family and that my nation does well. My girl and i have a baby in november. Do you think we bother about Hitler?


People have a very warped view how humans work.

Depends on whether or not we become ignorant enough about history that we allow your girl and baby to see another Hitler. Your nation did well under Hitler for years.

It bothers me how so many people like to declare that "those who are not aware of history repeat it," yet don't really appreciate the meaning. Make no mistake, a Hitler can rise anywhere. Perhaps bothering with Hitler will allow us to recognize the signs.

I am representative. When we would meet face to face i would tell you how sorry i am for Hitler and WW II, when infact i give a ****. Since all my class mates acted the same and i see the same kind of feeling at my colleagues and friends i guess im representative.

We are a diverse nation and thats our strength.

In Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg i noticed people think like we do here in Thüringen or Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Westphalia is different. You dont laugh about WW II but your turkish majority there laughs about the genocide of the Armenians. touche

Btw in Rostock a jew can walk free, i doubt he can do same in Cologne.
