Police put Greenpeace on extremist list with neo-Nazis | News | The Times

Greenpeace has been placed alongside extremist groups such as neo-Nazis by counter terror police in guidance to officers.

A guide produced by the counterterrorism policing unit lists campaigning environmental groups alongside far-right extremist groups such as Combat 18, National Action and the National Front.

Sometimes you can try to do so much good that you get put on someone's 'S'-list. I would be surprised if this was the result of intensive lobbying by the big oil companies like Shell & BP.
 
Totally misleading title.

Greenpeace is in no way equated with neo-Nazis.
 
They're not saying members of Greenpeace (and other activist groups) are as bad as neo-Nazi groups, it's just saying there is a risk of terrorism from those groups.

Greenpeace can be a gateway drug for people who end up more radicalized such as the Earth Liberation Front types.

I think I can speak for everyone here about we live in perpetual fear of a terror attack from Greenpeace or PETA.

The French DGSE (foreign secret service) plants a bomb on and destroys the Green Peace Rainbow Warrior and Green Peace is on a watch list? Right..., that makes a lot of sense. The international powers that be are progressively criminalising all dissent no matter how benign or malign it might be, in defense of a growingly indefensible rigged and preferential status quo. Green Peace is dangerous because its actions cause people to ask questions about their governments and their government's close allies.
