Too white, too middle class and lacking in empathy, Extinction Rebellion has a race problem, critics say - CNN

Last month angry commuters dragged two Extinction Rebellion protesters off the top of trains at a tube station in a working class, historically poor district of east London during morning rush hour. The demonstrators were trying to force the British government to take action on the climate crisis. Their protest -- which disrupted thousands of people's journeys to work -- was rapidly criticized as wrongheaded and out of touch by members of the public, across social media and in the press.
Extinction Rebellion, or XR, is a decentralized organization. Anyone can act in its name if they adhere to the group's principles and values.
While it's not clear who made the decision to protest at Canning Town on October 17, the negative response has helped to spark change and self-reflection within one of the world's highest-profile environmental movements.

On its website, Extinction Rebellion now states: "Our vision for Extinction Rebellion puts love at the heart of change. In this way some people in Extinction Rebellion may choose to express gratitude and love towards police officers. We understand for those that have been victimised by the police that this can be difficult and alienating to witness. We especially ask white people to learn about white privilege."

Its more than just a race problem, these enviro-nuts are neo-luddite cultists, pure and simple- they are spreading a dangerous, false belief that the world is going to end and somehow going back to the Stone Age is the only way to stop it.

We shut things down, 11/12 humans die within a year. So 6,875,000,000 humans gotta go. They should volunteer to go first.
 
Climate change is the #1 threat we face - climate change is caused by humans - we need an open border policy, migration is a human right.

Do they like dying?

Climate has changed back and forth for millions of years even before humans.Why don't you take in a couple of immigrant families and feed them,clothe them pay all their medical,education etc

when you saw them and heard them speak and the songs they sang they were clearly not working class the middle class are the most disaffected/discontented people in the UK
