I was in the Army, I would fight for my Country. But as most Germans only if attacked - not at the Hindukush ;o)
 
Stupid question. There is one hell of a difference between starting a war/attacking or being attacked/defending.

statistic shows that even if attacked only 18% of Germans are ready to die for the State of democracy and individual freedoms ....

And what would the other 82 do? I really don´t think they would flee or arrange themselves with a russian style system. It´s statistics...

edit: there is a difference between war mongering and just beeing prepared

There is are technical problems in our Army, Navy and Airforce - no question - we make a lot of jokes about that. And that should really be fixed.

But I really don´t believe they wanna attack us. Would be really silly.
Don´t get me wrong, I´m no Putin fan, but it would be quite silly for them to attack us - they sell us their Oil. Don´t eat the cow you wanna milk.

Considering Germany is part of NATO and we are under a mutual defence pact (Trump notwithstanding) I would happily defend the Germans if I were a young man again. That leaves me to conclude you will be marching westwards with your Russian friends?
Your statement you are "not for any kind of war" also grates against your statement Scotland had to be nuclear armed if she left the UK.
