Who will win the UK General Election Dec 2019?

Who are the Labour members you are referring to that have been kicked out without any evidence?

I dont know, and I am not referring to them.... others are.

TBH the great red purge 3.0.. Corybn is using the opportunity to get rid of troublemakers... at least for some of them. Remember he is "old school", one of the main reasons I dislike him.

And I dont understand why you so blindly follow a narrative without even the remotest evidence. Expelling from the party aint evidence of wrong doing.. just look at the Tories and them expelling people.

Ah dear, Boris expelled Remainers who wouldn't vote for him. I have voiced my protest against those expulsions as Centrists have less option o vote for anyone while the antisemites are hopefully being expelled and for very different reason.

Who knows... when there is an excuse then why not? Boris did it, so why not Corbyn.

My issue is the lack of publicly available evidence to back up these accusations.

Which accusations are you referring to - are there any in particular?

Thats the problem! The are so vague that most of them you cant even point out! There was the one I posted, which had zero evidence linked and yet it was enough. We have heard of Labour members being kicked out for accusations of antisemitism, but seen no evidence... why?

So, let’s be clear, your issue is with the lack of publicly available evidence to back up the accusations. Accusations so vague that you can’t provide any.

You say that we have heard of Labour members being kicked out for accusations of antisemitism, but have seen no evidence, but you say that you don’t actually know of any members.

And then you ask readers to explain why.

The discussion was about Labour and antisemitism. I think Snazzy deserves some answers as they are questions I've been meaning to ask too.

Trump meddling in the election on day one of his visit. Dear Trumpets, you can not say you wont commet on the election and then back one of the candidates...

Boris or his foreign sec caught lying about the NHS and drug pricing.

"If the polls are to be believed, Britain’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, is heading for a comfortable win when the country votes in December’s general election.

Labour would stand a better chance of victory if Corbyn categorically states to the electorate that he will quit IMMEDIATELY after the election.

Perhaps but they have tilted so far left I am not sure that alone could save them

The Tories want to give you guys death panels like we have in the states.

You let them, I get to laugh at you, sardonically.

Do NOT vote for BoJo.

~ Do NOT vote for BoJo.

I'm voting Lib Dem but realistically, there's no hope this time around. The centre ground has been wiped out.

Personally I think Corbyn's staying put just so he can cancel out the Remain alliance getting together to form an effective opposition to Brexit supporting parties. When the SNP / LibDems and Plain all asked him to step aside for Harriet Harman or Ken Clarke he refused.

Corbyn's a patsy for BoJo I'm afraid.

I also think that Swinson's gamble to ally with the SNP in enabling the election is breaking her neck.

Not that I see any alternative having been on the plate, since preventing this election would have prolonged the deadlock agony. Damned if you do, damned if you don't, so to speak.

To me it's also (perhaps even primarily) a sign of his narcissism. Politicos that put their personal vanity below the general good (here of the party) are few and far between, so he's hardly unique in that respect.

what allegiance is this ?? i must have missed this .. the Lib Dems in Scotland are side by side with Labour and the Tories

The allegiance of helping the vote for this election to pass in Westminster, by supporting the Tory desires (sort of).

If both SNP or LibDems had voted otherwise, it wouldn't have passed.

Early Parliamentary General Election Act 2019 - Wikipedia
On the weekend of 26 October 2019 the Liberal Democrats and the Scottish National Party proposed introducing a bill in the House of Commons to hold a general election on 9 December 2019.

"What is your position on border controls in the Irish Sea?"

BJ: "Let's get Brexit done."

"How are all these new hospitals going to be financed?"

BJ: "Let's get Brexit done."

"How will future relations with Europe pan out?"

BJ: "Let's get Brexit done."

"What's your favourite ice cream?"

BJ: "Let's get Brexit done."

Lawd gimme strength.

BJ: "Let's get Brexit done."

This election really redefines the meaning of "race to the bottom"

Well, at least nobody has to put up with any campaign.

Or anything even remotely resembling such a thing.

To be fair, Corbyn realised at one point he had a similar slogan with "not for sale" regarding the NHS but he seems to have forgotten about it - there had been a resurgence in support after the few rallies where that chant sprung up.

The whole election stinks you have a conservative website changing names to a fact checking site to mislead the voters you have well funded Facebook groups obviously backed with the Tories #The Fair Tax Campaign and something like #Campaign4work or whatever it is ... the whole Tory campaign is about misleading the public like Brexit ... and they can't blame the Russians for that but their dirty tricks team from Australia

UK is turning into America and Scotland needs to get out of this *rap ... we are better than this and i don't want Scotland to be like America

Fascinating watching this spectacle from across the Irish Sea. Or it would be if we weren’t so worried you’ll destroy our economy along with your own. Still at least it looks like we might get the six counties back.

Surely Eire can develop exports to the EU instead? The border being down the Irish Sea should help protect you from the worst of Brexit?

We’re trying. One difficulty is that imports and exports between Ireland and the continent tend to go through Britain. It’s longer and costlier to go by sea. Putting the customs border in the Irish Sea will help a lot, particularly for the border economy. However, so many of our exports go to or through Britain. For example, most of the mushrooms sold in British supermarkets come from a factory in Monaghan. Brexit will likely severely damage that particular industry. There’s a lot of examples like that. Our economy is small so uncertainties and vagueness about the future with our largest trading partner are significant hurdles to overcome.

I certainly think that natural justice demands there should be a referendum on that issue in NI before there is another referendum in Scotland.

It is sad to read that some Black British citizens are thinking about leaving the UK if the rather racist Boris Johnson and his party gain power.

As long as they are part of the EU I could envision some moving to the EU but that is without knowing how hard or brutal the Brexit is going to be or the consequences of a hard Brexit.
