That third letter could be contempt of court. I hope Joanna Cherry gets him locked up for it. What a spoiled brat petty-arse thing to do! "Here's an unsigned photocopy of a letter they made me send, but I don't want you to do what it says!" How ****ing childish is that? He really is Trump II with a classics education.
Yeah, I agree with the impression it all gives (not just to you) yet he's basically playing to his own.

"Said I'd never do this and look how I really didn't"

In a sense he's also making excuses to the EU over how the deal he's agreed to isn't flying so far at home.

Won't make much difference to the EU deciding on whether to give extension or not and it certainly won't make much difference to what they all think of him.

On reflection, he's diverting the conversation from "He was going to die in a ditch rather than be forced to send that letter he just sent." Now the narrative he's sending is "Look how defiant he is!"

Sure enough.

To those worshiping him he can do no wrong anyway, to those with a greater sense of reality he's just sticking to his customs.

Neither will make a fart of a difference to how this whole thing will play out.

It's a sign of the times, just when we couldn't be any more embarrassed on the international stage - he went and did that.

Turns out it wasn't even a photocopy! The font and spacing differ thought the wording's the same. He'll lie about anything.

if that deal was to go through ... there will be real trouble in northern Ireland on a scale never seen before ... the Loyalists still have weapons stashed like the IRA they never got rid of all there weapons .... these sort of people never do in case something causes a spark

Arlene Foster was reported to have held discussions with the UDA and UVF loyalist terrorist organisations!

i saw that a couple of days ago ... the unionist partie like Sinn Fein keep close links to their paramilitaries .... these people don't mess about and they never forget ... you could actually potentially see mass resignations of N Irish troops from the British army if this goes through

Didn't Macron already say he doesn't want an extension? If France blocks it, there will be no extension.

Macron would likely be persuaded to give some form of extension compromise again. The EU originally wanted a longer delay after March's "non-Brexit" - Macron said "no" and the compromise was October 31st.
If some form of deal is likely in the next few months - the EU won't say no.

The speaker probably will allow the vote but there's no guarantee he has to.
Further to this (and the fact that not surprisingly he now has not), watching Bercow cut the whiners against his decision to ribbons just now, was a beauty to behold.

Always refreshing to see a(ny) conservative these days who embodies the concept of "class", showing the yappie little spaniels their limitations.

This farce goes on and on... A bad version of Yes Prime Minister and Blackadder combined...

Well, looking at Bercow's reasoning it made sense why he said "no." Tomorrow's "programme motion" vote may scupper the govts plans to hold the readings of the new withdrawal bill in super-short time.

decidedly. Well thought out and well presented.

The spaniel I referred to was some twit (only heard him, seeing how I'd moved to the kitchen) whining about how Bercow's rulings always seem to favour one side while his side always got the shaft. Bercow pulverized him by citing the number of times he'd voted for the guy's motions, citing the instance and the year in the process.

Egg and face found perfect alignment.

I expect it to.

As many have said today by way of analogy, like buying a house without having seen it, let alone arranged a survey.
