Brexit: Scottish judges rule Parliament suspension is unlawful

Freedom for Greenland, down with the ice floe.

Or. to stay with Pete's home country, free view of the Mediterranean, down with the Alps.

More like freedom for Greenland, and then "local tribe name" freedom from Greenland.

Only for the brain dead. When does isolating yourself and alienating your friends ever work? By your logic, every state in the US should cede from the US, and in every state, areas should cede from the state itself.. that would be a "sweetheart deal" no?

Friends? The EU is a friend of the UK???

You didn't specify Brussels....

The EU can be singular (Brussels) or plural (the 27 other EU members). Say what you mean in the future.

What's your answer to the question: Is the administration of the EU friendly to the UK?

Why should it be? It is the UK that wants a divorce so it is the job of the EU administrator to get the best divorce deal possible for its member states and not for the UK.

If the 'divorce' of the EU is beneficial enough for the UK, wouldn't any reason or circumstances to divorce be OK?

How is a EU divorce beneficial to the majority of people living in the UK?

Undoubtedly this will next go to the UK Supreme Court.

The signs they are holding up are ironic in that they are the ones who are silencing the people by not following through with Brexit.

In your biased head, of course.

No...that's a reality. There was a public referendum, the people voted, the MPs have done nothing but delay, push back, and basically do everything they can to not make it happen. This isn't an opinion but a statement of fact.

If it weren't so obvious how your entry into this forum has brought you into waters you're obviously incapable of even standing in, I'd ask you who the people are.

But in view of your clear inability to swim, I won't bother.

Yeah, the Scots DID vote.

Does that give you some sort of clue?

Oh, never mind

I see...you don't know that a public referendum happened and the people voted to leave the EU. Consider yourself now educated.

Well, consider yourself consigned to the camp of posters whose inanities I don't find worthy of further address.

Bye.

And the clueless Trumpers just keep coming as I forecast.

Yes...just another person who doesn't think it necessary to follow what was voted on.

Don't you need to find some facts .... any facts?

I do. It is a fact that the people of the UK voted, via public referendum, to leave the EU. <---That's a fact.
It's a fact that many elected officials have done everything that can to delay and kick Brexit down the road all in an attempt to hopefully overturn the vote at some point <---That's also a fact.

Any other stupid comment you want to trot out in between warmongering threads?

Referendums in the UK are advisory only. They are not mandates. <--- That's a fact.

Any other dumb notions you want to trot out?

Did anything you say contradict what I stated? No. Care to try?
