Color me Brexit confused.

So, some reports say that BoJo is considering a plan to keep Northern Ireland more closely aligned to the EU after Brexit, as an alternative to the current Irish backstop.

Not sure how that would work, but maybe it could?
Lol that was the first proposal that most experts and the EU wanted. Make the Irish sea the border and keep NI in the customs Union. It is easy and cost effective as the the infrastructure is in place...more on this a bit later. The DUP, who are the main backers of the Conservative Party, said no and of course the Tories followed suit.

The irony is that when it comes to meat, there has been a border in the Irish sea since the Mad Cows crisis in what.. 1980s?and who wanted that? The DUP because as thier former leader said "We are British but our cows are Irish".
