Thank you for realizing the truth.

It's not like Denmark doesn't have a history of land sales.

On 17 January 1917, according to the Treaty of the Danish West Indies, the Danish government sold the islands to the United States for $25 million ($489 million in current prices), when the United States and Denmark exchanged their respective treaty ratifications.

Shhhh. Remember, Democratic former Vice President Joe Biden accurately explained the Democratic Party and - in his opinion - Democrats will no longer tolerate "facts."

You told a fact. Therefore, what you posted must be rejected by Democrats who follow party line. If you were to post that Trump just sold Alaska to Russia ranting about it - making it up out of thin air? You'd get at least a dozen Democrat likes because that's how it works among most Democrats now.

Neither far-sighted philanthropy nor deranged self-indulgence. If any deal is reached, it'll be because of self-interest...on the part of both the US and Denmark.

Whether there is a deal or not depends on what each of the parties determine is in their self-interest.

Now you see what I mean? Post #2, defending Trump.

There is no deal.

There are no negotiations.

Someone on Trump’s staff made some comment about Greenland, and the moron in chief took it seriously.

It’s more of the deranged self indulgence of the man child.

He invited himself to Denmark. Then this story about buying Greenland gets out.

Trump looks like the utter fool that he is.

And Trump tries to take it out on the Danes by cancelling a state visit that he himself invited himself to.

It’s rude, to say the very least. And it is representative of the type of chavanistic arrogance that is so typical of both Trump and his dwindling far right wing base.

Earth is not a planet that revolves around the United States. That might come as a revaluation to Trump and the fans who still support him. But it’s a fact.

There is a comic side to it - but also a sad side:

How can a person like Trump be elected President of the USA?

He's like the gift that keeps on giving.

I can haz Greenland!

I want it or else....
