Are there any benefits for a No-Deal Brexit to Europe or the UK?

The reality of the mistake underlined. Interrail, a Europe-wide railcard is ending for the British, alongside the Erasmus University programme for the youth of Europe. No Brits. One of the "attractions" of leaving was to cut the number of "foreigners" with free access to the UK.

Well no unless I miss understood your comment. The British withdrew unilaterally from the system for no logical reason only to scrap the withdrawal under 24 hours later.

The reality is this is typical on how Brexit has been handled by the UK. Withdrawing from treaties they don't have to withdraw from to leave the EU.... European Commen Aviation agreement comes to mind...

The end of interrail is a decision based on money and a dispute between British rail companies and the European ones - Brexit and the EU are not involved. What will happen is that European interrail travellers will be able to get to London but their pass ends there. European tourists will not be able to use it to get to Manchester / Liverpool / Edinburgh. It's a sad end for young British students as this was a staple for the summer holidays - pack your rucksack and take a trip around Europe. I did this in 197 and had a brilliant time.

Erasmus and other education trips ending is a real shame. I work with a company that has taken my students into Europe for 12 years - one of my students is in Europe right now on 4 week work experience with local artisans and industry.

Well one benefit is that the UK basically joins the Euro...

People voted to a drumbeat of lies from the largely rightwing UK media. An Example from Murdoch;s S*n
