A British court ruled that Robinson's actions did, and didn't jeopardize the trials of the defendants. In light of this fact, giving Robinson 9 months in prison makes him appear to be a political prisoner, being punished unfairly.

You still are woefully ignorant about WHY he was punished. The judges made a ruling, he violated that ruling, he was slapped with a contempt of court ruling. Period, end of discussion.

You may think he is a political prisoner but that is totally BULL **** BULL CRAPHOLA, total nonsense. That he got 9 months is because of his suspended sentence when he previously was guilty of contempt of court. In light of everything you are peddling the usual nonsense in favor of that agitator criminal Yaxley-Lennon. Just because he hates those evil islam people and wants to create a "race/religion war" between his thug followers and angry muslim teens. That is his entire goal. He is not doing anything journalistic or noble, he has just moved his thug friends and his agitating ways from soccer to muslim hatred.

There is a case for, say, the Catalan separatists behind bars being considered 'political prisoners'. I wouldn't make it, but I can see how it might be thought to be so. Tommy Robinson is just a muppet with a load of convictions banged up for once again acting like a muppet.

That's a perverted response to a court finding. Courts often take into account previous behaviour and he has shown among his 11 previous convictions that he was prepared to commit contempt of court.


  1. An aggravating feature is the respondent’s previous offending, including but not limited to an earlier contempt committed at Canterbury. He has 11 convictions, including for offences of violence, public order offences, disobedience to court orders, and fraud. On 22 May 2017 he received a suspended committal order from the Crown Court at Canterbury, in the circumstances described in our judgment.
  2. We are in no doubt that the custody threshold is crossed in this case, in particular having regard to the common law contempt that he committed. Nothing less than a custodial penalty would properly reflect the gravity of the conduct we have identified.

It occurs to me that he could be using that as an excuse to explain why he filed for bankruptcy when he lost his libel case! He wouldn't lie to the court though...
