Social Democrats claim victory

If Trumpers see this their little anti-socialist heads will explode.
We can only hope.

One of the issues of course, is the inability to distinguish between "socialism", "communism", "democratic socialism", "Social Democrats" and just plain old "social." They don't "believe" in any of them.

It was a good election for the SD, and also for the anti migrant extreme right who almost topped the poll.

But 18% of the vote hardly constitutes a meaningful victory, and tells us a hopelessly fragmented and divided political system where party bosses will now leave voters none the wiser about what government will emerge.

As Sweden says, this is a problem with PR systems. Voters vote and then party leaders negotiate sordid deals behind closed doors trading away promises made in the campaign.
Yeah, that's the problem with countries whose people simply can't be made to agree solely on one czar.

I don't care about your woes in Sweden. This thread is about Finland. The Social Democrats won the Finnish election and will form a coalition government.
Apparently the SD's primary opponent was talking about the need to take austerity measures due to the shaky Finland economy and scared some Fins. See my signature for an explanation

Like Trump, anything taking more than a minute to understand is far too complex for them.

Social Democrats claim narrow win over populists in Finland election

Finland’s leftist Social Democrat party has declared victory in Sunday’s general election.

I believe their heads have already exploded with Bernie on Fox the other night.

And to top it off, many of them applauded the Bern

Thus the reason Rump had a diarrhea tweet storm over Bernies appearance

He is not my first choice, but I am warming up to Bernie, and its gravy to see how he rattles Trump and the Righties.

I would pay to see Rump and Bernie in a debate, I think.Trump would get his arse kicked. I lived in VT in the 80's when Sanders was mayor of Burlington. He was honest then, and still is, I dont think he has changed much since then. Bernie has always looked 70 years old:lamo

You'll have to do your own homework.

Which part of democracy regarding the 17.7% and 82.3% of the votes do you suggest I should do my homework on?
