"According to Kiselyov, his nephew has German citizenship and was arrested after he had left Ukraine. "He went into convent, became a monk – he was somewhere in Bulgaria and the Bulgarians arrested him and deported to Germany. Now he is in prison, [serving his sentence] under a bad article – terrorism, [possession of] weapons because he was a mercenary," the propagandist confessed.

Sergey Kiselyov is a nephew of Dmitry Kiselyov, who hosts the TV show Vesti Nedeli on Russia's state run Channel 1. This show is Russia's most popular television propaganda program, filled with lies and conspiracy.

Sergey was convicted of fighting with pro-Russian forces in eastern Ukraine.
