What Putinista submits here is the usual bovine manure.

What remains puzzling is what the heck he thinks he's achieving here. Swaying opinion of anyone towards Kremlin lies being seen as anything other than what they are?

The total lack of support, indeed garnered opposition, would tell anyone with even average self-awareness something, but either the pay is so great that he doesn't mind the ridicule heaped on his posts and thus him, or he's so far gone on his own propaganda that he notices nothing else.

Intriguing, indeed.

The problem is that you don't understand the nature of debate and of democracy.

The point about debate is that alternative views are as legitimate as those of the sheep like baying majority. Moreover, the majority is not, by definition, right. The majority is simply the majority.

Your attempts to dismiss alternative pro Russian views as illegitimate, or posted only by people being paid by a foreign power, are not just ludicrous but also are not inconsistent with the tactics employed by authoritarian dictators. I can see why western democracy is increasingly mis-trusted by its own citizens.

Well, anyone with a bit of common sense will note that a lot of things have happened since then and these agreements are obviously no longer in place.

Facts on the ground.
..

United Nations General Assembly Resolution 68/262 was adopted on March 27, 2014 by the sixty-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly in response to the Russian annexation of Crimea and entitled "Territorial integrity of Ukraine". .... United Nations member states, affirmed the General Assembly's commitment to the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders and underscored the invalidity of the 2014 Crimean referendum. ...
The resolution was introduced by Canada, Costa Rica, Germany, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine.[1] The adoption of the resolution was preceded by the unsuccessful attempts of the United Nations Security Council, which convened seven sessions to address the Crimean crisis, only to face a Russian veto[2] of draft resolution S/2014/189,[3] sponsored by 42 countries.

The UN General Assembly also passed the related Resolution 71/205 in December 2016, entitled "Situation of human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Ukraine)".[4][5]

Will Trump dump pirate Putler in Argentina ?

"US President Donald Trump says he may cancel a meeting with "Russian" President Vladimir Putin following a maritime clash between "Russia" and Ukraine.

Mr Trump told the Washington Post he was waiting for a "full report" after Russian ships fired on and seized three Ukrainian boats on Sunday.

Ukraine described it as an "act of aggression" but Russia said the ships had illegally entered its waters.....What did Donald Trump say?

Mr Trump and Mr Putin are due to meet on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Buenos Aires later this week.

However, Mr Trump told the Washington Post that the report coming from his national security team would be "very determinative"."

The issue is with the passage of the vessels after the line mysteriously stops. That's when they violated Russian waters having failed to receive the appropriate permissions form the Russian authorities.

The seizure point is irrelevant since their prior passage was illegal and they failed to stop when requested.

As you well know ..........

Ukraine vessels need no Russian permissions to travel from the Black Sea into the Sea of Azov and vice-versa.

This is what the Kremlin would like the world to believe, but few (i.e. Fagan and PoS) fall for such Russian disinformation these days.

Yesterday. Russia refused to attend a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, Belarus called to discuss Russian piracy on the high seas. Angela Merkel said she will bring this piracy up at the G20 meeting.

Ukrainian sailors arriving at a Kremlin kangaroo court yesterday in Russia occupied Crimea. They were charged with "illegal entry
into Russian territorial waters" and ordered detained (kidnapped) until Jan 25, 2019. Neither the Black Sea nor the Sea of Azov are
"Russian territorial waters". The Black Sea is international. The Sea of Azov is mutually Ukrainian and Russian by treaty.

To make certain that everyone can understand the situation. The Kremlin has built an illegal bridge between Russia and Russian occupied Crimea. Although both Russia and Ukraine have equal
access and usage of the Sea of Azov via a treaty and maritime law, Russia is using its Crimea Bridge in the Kerch Strait to block ships in the Black Sea bound for the Ukraine port city of Mariupol
(and Berdyansk) on the Sea of Azov coastline. This is yet another way (economically) that Moscow is waghing war against Ukraine. What Russia is engaged in here is piracy, no different than the
piracy used by the Barbary states against the United States in the late 1700's. Port of Berdyansk confirms that no vessel has been able to reach the port for 6 days - Russia prevents them from
passing under the Kerch Strait bridge. Four ships on their way to Berdyansk have been stuck for a week. Apparently 14 bound for Mariupol are still waiting in the Black Sea.

At the Crimea bridge ... Russia is using a freighter to block the entrance/exit to the Sea of Azov to any vessels bound-for or leaving-from Ukrainian ports. There is also a Russian Navy patrol boat abeam of the freighter.

Based on the fact that the ships and sailors have not been returned to Ukraine from "Russia",
I have decided it would be best for all parties concerned to cancel my previously scheduled meeting....

The number of commercial ships Russia is currently preventing from leaving (3@Berdyansk and 6@Mariupol)) or entering (18@Kerch) the Sea of Azov.

35 ships within the past week alone. This has been going on for months now, and a new phase began on 25 November with piracy and kidnapping.

Russia's new claims include not only passage rights, but also Ukraine's legal mineral rights under the Black Sea.

Putin finally removed the [fig-leaf] veil from his Ukraine conflict. There's no denying to the world that Russia has blocked the Kerch Strait to international maritime traffic, and the Russian military attacked and boarded Ukraine naval ships in an act of piracy, and kidnapped Ukrainian sailors for a Stalinesque kangaroo trial in occupied Crimea.
