All of us in the USA can now feel completely safe with Lithuanians now being our military ally. Russians would have to be fools to mess with their military. :roll:

They have a fierce military. 16,000 total active service. Not only do that have one attack aircraft but over 400 armored vehicles plus 54 artillery pieces AND 4 patrol boats. With this new powerful ally, we should be able to significantly reduce our own military size and costs.

Muscovy lost 2 wars in Chechnya and today they pay to Chechens huge yearly war - contribution (90% of its budget) . do you think Lithuanians are worse partisans than Chechens ?

You'd probably be better off staying out of fields and topics you have no grasp of.

Or at least to read properly so as not to confuse either Germany or Lithuania with the whole of NATO, let alone being as ignorant of what a framework nation is as you appear to be.

No it will not, atleast if it is just germany, they have maybe 4 aircraft that are combat ready zero subs and almost no naval vessals combat ready. In terms of nato bulgaria the poorest country in europe is more combat ready in 2018 than germany the most powerful and richest in europe, and people wonder why trump singles out germany, maybe germany is chest thunping after all the articles this years and even the german govt and nato admitting germany itself is unable to fulfill any nato combat role.

They lost one war in chechnya which was right after the fall of the soviet union when their economy and military was in complete chaos and the chechnyans being directly funded and armed by saudi arabia. The second chechnya war they did not lose they won, there are still resistance fighters but they regained control of chechnya govt in a fairly efficient manner over the first war.

And 90% of it's budget, where the hell did you come up with this, there is no rational logic behind your statistics.

Well they seem terrible in air power, but if their equipment is combat ready they would still beat germany in nato compliance by a longshot.

Nobody can seriously deny the atrocious state the Bundeswehr, Bundesluftwaffe and the Bundesmarine are in. The few things they do have are largely stricken with malfunction problems and functioning sea vessels are fooling around at the Horn of Africa and the Gibraltar Straits.

One should also note that these out-of-area operations are highly unpopular among the German populace on account of being seen as a waste of money that would be better off going elsewhere (social systems etc.) but that NATO is a completely different picture.

Germany's current strength in soldiers amounts to around 180,000 from what used to be up to 600 thou'. years ago. So yeah, hardly something to make anyone tremble.

Yet the comments of von der Leyen (much ridiculed in Germany as well) don't really imply Wehrmacht status (i.e. taking on Russia all on their own), she was actually speaking for NATO, of which Germany currently commands this particular forward presence.

not just NATO western (democratic) world , Sweden (with its the best in the world diesel submarine fleet, good bye Baltic sea for the mongols juchi ) and Finland in as will.

Neither Sweden or Finland are in NATO. Which is why Pewtin sneaks minisubs into Swedish fiords and has fighter jets violating Swedish air space.

where that is totally correct, they both engage in a high level of cooperation with it. In Sweden's case not joining up is of course due to the ages long policy of neutrality, in Finland's case its long standing policy of military non-alignment. Neither will stand aside should any of the three Baltic Republics be attacked, nor should that occur with Poland.
