It seems that Bellingcat also has discovered the identity of the second Russian assassin (pseudonym - Aleksandr Petrov). He is a Captain in the GRU.

Chepiga was a member of the 14th Spetsnaz Brigade and did three military tours in Chechnya during Chechnya II. Author/journalist Anna Politkovskaya wrote extensively of the war crimes being perpetrated by Russian forces in Chechnya II. Specialized units like the 14th Spetsnaz Brigade slaughtered entire villages. Ms. Politkovskaya was assassinated (shot to death) in her building elevator in October 2006. After Chechnya II it seems Chepiga probably graduated from the Military Diplomatic Academy, also known as the “GRU Conservatory,” in Moscow and acquired his 'Ruslan Boshirov' cover. In December 2014, Colonel Chepiga was awarded Russia’s highest state award, Hero of the Russian Federation. Putin bestows these rare awards personally so he had to know Col. Chepiga. Unlike all other medal recipients, the reason why Col. Chepiga was awarded is not published. But at that time, eastern Ukraine was the only active Russian battleground. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Col. Chepiga worked with Col. Strelkov (Girkin).

The name of a third assassin is also known. This individual did reconnaissance for the Novichok team.

Sergei Skripal was working with the intelligence services of four NATO countries. It has been speculated that the Kremlin wanted him dead because his assistance to Spain resulted in the arrests of many Russian mafia members in that country.

The British know full well that Belling are up to more fakery, and have been careful not to officially endorse this nonsense.

They are soldiers, they follow orders. I don't think it really matters who they are the only thing that matters is that these orders were issued, it came from the top, executed by GRU....chemical weapons attack on British soil.

Beyond which one notices that you provide nothing to support your claim of Bellingcat being Ukrainian.

The apparent unmasking of a Russian man accused of the Salisbury poisoning has made headlines around the world, but for many the source of the revelation may still be unfamiliar. Bellingcat, a website which describes itself as "the home of online investigations", published the bombshell piece on Wednesday. It said that one of the suspects was not a civilian on a sightseeing trip, the explanation put forward by Russian President Vladimir Putin, but rather a highly-decorated military officer named Anatoliy Chepiga. British officials haven't commented, but the BBC understands there is no dispute over the identification. Russia has dismissed the claim as "groundless". The website behind the story was founded in 2014 by British journalist Eliot Higgins, with the help of a crowd-funding campaign. At the time of its creation, he was a lone blogger known as Brown Moses who was operating out of his living room in Leicester.

He saw an opportunity to build something bigger than his blog, and decided to try to raise funds for Bellingcat through the funding site Kickstarter. The name comes from the idiom 'to bell the cat', which means to take on a dangerous task. In a post announcing the creation of Bellingcat, Mr Higgins said the website would have two main objectives. Firstly, "[bringing] together a group of writers and activists who through using open source tools have transformed journalism" and, secondly, "[attracting] others to come and learn how to use these same tools".

well no I don't, simply because they have no other alternative, not like they are going to go... "oh alright you got me... we used chemical weapons on British soil" <<< actually this is lamer :lol:

so we all play the game, pointing fingers exposing evidence and they'll just go "wasn't me" the more we jump up and down hysterically the more stupid we look for making such a fuss over something that's obviously the case.

I think the British have done well in bringing out more evidence, everyone knows the truth and the Russians will continue to deny it...now we're all in our comfort zone
