If women wish to publicly wear semi-pornographic t-shirts as a symbol of their empowerment, they should feel free to. I personally do not see the appeal of it as anything more than titillation. But I do not live in an autocratic police state like the Belorussians do.

Somehow, I don't think this American feminist will be wearing that t-shirt. LOL!!

I suspect the underlying definitions and reasons for being feminists in the two countries are very different.

How would an American woman be sure the banner doesn't say "Brides for Sale"?

If it's not in English, it's not advisable to wear it in America unless you are a native speaker.

BTW, if you are designing it, get rid of the purple. It's too "loud".

I dont know...it seems like fairly often when women protest to show their 'power' one of the things to go is their clothes.

With FEMEN around, there is little need for such t-shirts.

Yeah. The difference being that the Belorussian fembots actually are oppressed. lulz

mmm.... stereotypes. I have no problem with that T-shirt, I'd wear it. Why can you not be a feminist and be comfortable with your sexuality? ... besides as if a t-shirt can capture an entire personality

I think they are using this "sexier" image to break away from the stereotypical view of feminism. Perhaps feminism needs to be "changed" to suit a demographic or country etc. In Australia there is nothing wrong with being feminine or sexy and feminist, however, perhaps feminists in Bellarus are automatically categorised as butch or anti-men... thus the "sexier" version of the t-shirt,

it says "you can be a strong woman and sexy"
