To All:

If you have an hour and twenty minutes to spare here is a well made and well researched film about "The City of London", Secret Off-Shore Trusts, Secrecy Jurisdictions and Tax Evasion which provides a fascinating and enlightening look at the nature of British banking and accountancy. It also presents an historical context which explains much of the changes and challenges caused by moving from an industrial to a financial based economy in many countries and sheds a light onto the darker side of British democracy vs. oligarchy. Most eye-opening was that Africa is a net creditor continent when these sub rosa and secret accounts and trusts are counted in its net capital flows. A very good watch in my opinion. The film was referred to me yesterday by a former student.

Or for those who want to watch it without leaving DPF here is the tiny version:

Cheers.

I'll give it a shot later. But it reminds me of Apples shenanigans IRT Irish banks and some Caribbean nation.

Theresa May wants the best of both worlds .... an end to Russian assassinations and unchecked Russian money laundering.
