Whataboutism/Cowardice.

Maybe you're afraid to speak out about human rights abuses by Russia, but others are not.
 
To be clear, this report is totally methodologically flawed.

No visits to Crimea were conducted. The report was put together by 'remote monitoring' from Ukraine. See Section 2:17.


This makes its observations subject to extreme bias, poor verification, and therefore its conclusions all but worthless.

We knew all this before the report came out, but it is highly unlikely anything will result from it. You add that to half the members on the UN Human Rights group having their own issues with Human Rights and we find out how useless the UN really is.

Nice to see the report, completely non-actionable without war.

True, but such things should be noted for history. The Russians count on people looking away.

Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch also have similar ongoing reports of human rights abuses in occupied Crimea.

So-called 'human rights' are an utility for destroying independent states.No one care about 100% lying and paid by enemies of Slavic folks 'repotts'

I might be willing to listen to those organizations, but very little coming from the UN is meaningful now. Dubious characters with questionable intentions, many on that council no better in their own backyards than Russia is in theirs.

History will be harsh on Putin and Russia, same story with others involved here.

A report on human rights written without stepping foot in Crimea, without interviewing any Crimean officials.


In other words, Totally one sided and virtually worthless.

But I suppose it says what you want it to say, so nobody is bothered with its deep methodological flaws.

What you conveniently forget to denote, is that Russia denies such organizations permission to investigate human rights abuses.

Why is that if all is well? Why is Moscow always so secretive if there is nothing to hide?

I think we all know the answer to that question.
