Swedens election

~ I think Sweden is rebellious of Globalism forced on them by the EU. It's fairly obvious this is happening with more European countries . It's a big reason Trump won the election in the US.

Yes, good point.

Globalism has been exposed by the 2008 financial crisis. Fundamentally it's a tarnished and failed brand, but of course those who benefit from it in the elites will continue to seek to defend it until such time as they are overwhelmed.

Those elites control western media, political and academic systems. They will lie for the cause (their own interests after all) and do their best to prolong the imposition of globalism on everybody.

When I look at the EU, how out of touch it is with reality and with the people, I see many resemblances to the Soviet Union's latter years. Same with the US through its over-extend military and the vast cost of its global empire.

The ship was fatally holed in 2008. The crew are trying to slow down the sinking, but the forthcoming demise of the western system is obvious.

You know who has benefited the most from so called globalism.... your friend Putin and his mates. Without it, Russia would still be dirt poor. Another portion of the population who owe their wealth in large parts to globalism... Trump and his cronies.
