Bookies put Boris Johnson in first place for next Prime Minister

Momenmentum - the ultra left part-within-a-party of the far left British Labour - is running a poll about whether Boris Johnson should be dissmissed from the Conservatives. And are left looking pretty silly. I wouldn't be so sure about the results of Corbyn/Johnson poll if I were you.

Guido Fawkes as a source? ROFL! And what do Milo, Tommy Robinson, Farage and Steve Bannon have to say?

I'm sure Johnson would beat Corbyn hands down if the far-right party-within-a-party European Research Group of the Conservative Party were to hold a poll. Who knows, perhaps they already have, but I'm sure Guido Fawkes wouldn't have mentioned it.

Oh no! Not the tired old trick of impugning the source rather than addressing the content. Momentum IS running this poll and it DOES show massive support for Boris Johnson. Sorry if this fact conflicts with your prejudices but there it is.

No 52% of the population 2 years ago wanted it based on lies and miss - information and yes as we know... Russian meddling. Now days if polls are correct, a majority are against Brexit.

The UK won't get American support... it will be a takeover pure and simple and that is what Trump wants... so he can build more golf courses in Scotland.

With Americans they will turn the United Kingdom into the next Canada. Control the social media and talk about a independent Scotland just to weaken the pound. A poor pound, better to purchase more businesses and media like TV or newspapers. If you do not think it would happen, just study Ireland from 1860 to 1917.

When your source is a paid-for Russian collaborator and partisan ally of Johnson, you've got to be at least a little sceptical. But yes, the result on the Twitter poll does seem to reject the idea of withdrawing the whip. I'm not a Momentum member, but certainly to the far left of centre and I would have voted no too. Gagging the far right is silly unless they explicitly encourage violence. You would be very stupid however, as Paul Staines clearly is, to interpret my no vote as support for Johnson.

There were indeed a lot of lies told at the referendum two years ago. Like for example that a vote for Brexit would lead to mass unemployment and economic disaster. Big lies if they had not been told the OUT vote would have been bigger still.

It's no lie. There is no variety of Brexit, hard soft or fried, which leaves the average Briton or the country, better off. And that is the opinion of at least two government departments.
