Germany: Migrants 'May Have Fuelled Violent Crime Rise'

Migrants may be responsible for most of a recent rise in violent crime in Germany, research commissioned by the government suggests.

The study used data from Lower Saxony, a state where more than 90% of the rise was attributed to young male migrants. This group is most likely to commit crime, irrespective of nationality.

The researchers also said that migrants were twice as likely to be reported to police for alleged violent crimes as German nationals.

The report used statistics from Lower Saxony - regarded as an average state - where police saw an increase of 10.4% in reported violent crimes in 2015 and 2016.

Based on figures from the state's interior ministry, which keeps a separate record of alleged crimes by migrants, the report suggested that 92.1% of this increase was attributable to migrants.

In the Lower Saxony figures, 17% of crimes attributed to migrants were suspected of being committed by North Africans.

This group, makes up less than 1% of the state's migrant population.

What do we say now? After repeated assurances that the migrant crisis wasn't going to have negative implications, even the BBC is reporting how out of control the situation has become.

Time to start calling people bigoted is my guess...

Who said it wouldn’t have negative implications? Plenty of people said it could and that we needed to take measures to minimise that, many of which are blocked or resisted by people who don’t want to see any money spent on supporting foreigners. As per the article;
The researchers said that the best chance of reducing violent crime among migrants was to offer more help with integration through language courses, sport and apprenticeships.

But it said that many male migrants fell into the 14-30 age category, the most likely to commit violent crime.

The lack of women and families among the migrants also meant that those young men were deprived of a "violence-preventing, civilising force", the study said.

It also said that migrants with little hope of being giving asylum in Germany were much more likely to commit violent crime than those from war zones like Syria whose asylum was guaranteed.

Show me the reports that said migrants were not going to have "negative implications " ? There were many, many who had concerns and expressed said fears vociferously. You need to keep up with current events.

Germany should stand up and honestly describe what has caused all these problems - the war crimes, illegally invasions, terrorism, theft of others wealth by the USA mostly and its partners in crime, the UK, Aussieland, Canada, Germany, ... .

That amount you mention is a piddling sum compared to what just the USA has stolen from so many nations around the world.

Leaving the ideology talk aside and talking about **** hole places, despite of the rise of violence in Europe, it is still less violent e structurally more developed than the US.

If we try to be honest here, we could see that among the group we like to call refugees there are a significant number or people who are only seeking refugee status in order to migrate for wealth and not fleeing for their lives. Reason why most of this so-called refugees left their wives and children in the suppose war. Who the hall flee for their lives and leave his wife and children behind?

If you go in refugees camps you will see that children, women and people from countries in war are rare. Most are men from countries that are not really in war. For many women and children it is actually safer stay in the suppose war than to stay in refugee camps in Europe where they are highly likely to softer constant sexual assaults.

In my opinion, from the start the refugee program should focus on "women and children first". Real children and not 20, 30 or 40 years old men calling themselves as children.
