Happy New Year to you and your family Gunner. I miss the old days, that's for sure. And IC and Ben if you're reading, hope all is well with you guys, you are very much missed too.

In the old days we had "republic of public", "Gardener", "Grant" etc telling us muslims would outbreed us and that the only crimes and murders in Europe were committed by muslims. Now, the only sexual predators are apparently muslim - everyone else gets a free pass.

The names have changed since but the main discussion tends to be the same. Life is good in the real world.

It's a shame really, the debate has gone out of DP. What we're left with is but a shell. Middle ground has all but evaporated. Hope you had a nice break Serenity :)
 
We've lost some excellent contributors to the Europe forum in recent months and also a few disasters. The only way to get us back to having a great sub-forum is for those who remain to get stuck into some great debates. Here's to doing that in 2018.

Happy new year. I have tried to believe you, honestly, but without success. A couple of years ago I thought there were 3 million Muslims in the UK. No! No! was the cry There are only 2.9 million! There are now 4 million. First it was streets with a majority of Muslims, then it was districts, now it is towns.

Only thread I visit here currently being the one on Catalonia (distasteful as the whole affair continues to remain) and that primarily for the excellent update-summaries that PlusUltra continues to supply.
