What In The World Is Going On In The Russia-Backed Separatist Luhansk 'Republic'?

Basically, there's been a quiet Kremlin coup. When armed soldiers (no insignia) began taking over buildings used by the phony Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) "government", the top LNR official, Ihor Plotnitsky, fled to Moscow. He has been replaced by Leonid Pashechnik, who had been performing the functions of Minister of State Security. Moscow says the "little green men" soldiers were from the Wagner Group (Russia's version of Blackwater), but the Kremlin often identifies its GRU/Spetznaz soldiers as Wagner Group employees to provide deniability. Moscow says Plotnitsky has resigned for "health reasons".

There have been rumors circulating in intelligence circles that Putin and Vladislav Surkov (Putin's most trusted aide who manages the Kremlin's Georgia and Ukraine accounts) have decided to merge the Russian occupied LNR and the neighboring Russian occupied Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) into one occupied territory in far eastern Ukraine.

More evidence Putin is secretly rebuilding the USSR.

Luhansk is special story, with very strong local semi - criminal identity (patsanchiki) , Plotva was one of them, "DPR" is under FSB, where the locals have very week positions. one for sure "DPR" / FSB, could not totally control "LPR", its an Ukrainian Chechnya.
