Fox News' Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson programs violated Britain's broadcast standards, watchdog

1) Has nothing to do with the EU. Ofcom is British only.
2) Unfactual.... more like biased. There are certain standards tv news has to meet in the UK. One of them is that their stories have to be as unbiased as possible, and especially their journalists and interviewers. On top of that news channels are not allowed to promote products or views. There are a bunch of rules, all set down by the industry itself, as this is an industry regulator made by the industry itself.

Can you explain the BBC then? Very Biased enterprise.......

LOL they are not. Just because you dont agree with the truth, does not mean they are biased. Biased means pushing a certain narrative.. the BBC does not do that as a policy and when they inadvertently do, then their internal system of complaints corrects that error. Not saying that the BBC is totally unbiased, because no organisation can be that..... but openly pushing a political narrative for a country or political party/point of view... that they do NOT do. Fox News DOES.

I lived in the UK from 89-92...and the Beeb was certainly seen as biased then. Now...perhaps its all perspective, right? Perhaps if the slant being offered is slant you agree with, you cant/wont see the slant. that applies both ways.

Anyway....just a few short checks show there are at least some elements of concern (with examples) of bias at the BBC. https://biasedbbc.org/

Biased how?

There are quite a few things I dont agree with, that the BBC reports.

Think that is the site run by the IDF or Israeli government. They have been accusing the BBC (and everyone else) for bias for reporting from both sides of the conflict down there.

Biased with a decided Labor slant. As for the site...the comments are made by Brits...but you will see what you want to see.

Bias and what not.

Biased with a decided Labor slant.

I see.. that is what conservatives have said for donkey years, simply because it is state funded... zero evidence....You also have to look at the time you were there... 89-92, was chaotic years for the Conservative party with a massive civil war going on. So there was a lot of stories about this, and of course a right winger would not like to hear about the dirty laundry of the right.

If the BBC was biased, then they would never have turned on labour governments.. which they have, many times and labour bitched about bias as well during those times. When both sides bitch about bias, then it tends to mean that there is none (or very little.).

But because you disagree, they must be wrong. But slant isnt a problem.
