44° in parts of Spain this weekend.

After a few weeks in the 110-117 degree zone, the monsoons moved in and brought some humidity in and lowered the temps to the 100-106 range...but no rain dammit! The monsoon storms start in the mountains around Phx and, when everything is right, they move in and soak us, but they have been dying out before they get here. Tucson has been hit, but not us...we need the rain!

Of course, it will pour when I go back east next week for business...

Was cool this morning, but around 3-4 the heat came, although it is not that bad yet... only around 30ish.

He's looking a bit wobbly, but seems to be getting it back a bit in the late 3rd set.
Yeah, I guess "seems" was the operative word.

I've got a pot of fresh mint tea in the fridge. Room temperature here would almost make it too hot to drink!
Well, with room temperature I meant something lower that what that dunking pool of mine currently shows.

Trouble with the lay of the land here (facing SSW) is that round about 6 pm it's at its hottest this time of year. Gone up 4 C since 2 pm. There's a ridge West of me that'll shadow the sun around 90 minutes before it's gone completely but it'll take til around 11 pm for the air to become more comfortable.

Ha! know the feeling.. thankfully my house is part 200 year old finca with 1 meter thick walls, and part modern. I stick to the 200 year old part, as it is always cool!

Just go down to the coast!.. rarely gets that hot there /grin.

The irony of where I live.. I go 10 minutes north in a car, and I can go from 30 degrees to 40, or 10 minutes down the mountain to 25-28 degrees..

I remember I was in Ronda a few years ago and it hit 40+.
