German Police Bungle Another Migrant Rape Case

Police in Germany have launched a review after admitting they mishandled two emergency calls from a terrified camper who had been threatened with the knife before the rapist dragged his girlfriend away.


An emergency call handler asked a man if he was joking when he reported his girlfriend's ongoing rape by a machete-wielding attacker, it has been reported.

The officer who took his first call asked him: "You aren't messing with me, are you?" After enquiring about his name and location, and promising to send help, the Bonn Police operator hung up, according to the Rheinische Post.

The rape took place in April and a Ghanaian asylum seeker has reportedly been arrested, though he denies rape.

A Bonn Police spokesman admitted the way the calls were treated, and the language of the operator during the first emergency plea, were not up to standard.

I'm shocked that the police in some German cities would be so clueless at this point, as to assume that a report of rape in progress is some kind of joke. I'm not sure if German citizens are allowed to sue the police for damages, but the young woman in this story would certainly have a very strong claim if such suits are allowed.

The story is yet another indication that Germany remains unprepared for the effects of migration from certain areas of the world.

You mean after the attack that triggered the "war on terrorism "? Naturally mistakes are made everywhere, but before riding to the defense with a feint, you might want to check up on the domestic discussion of police inadequacy in Germany. It really is quite a mess on many levels.

Bonn is only 20 miles from Cologne, which is why I was so surprised by the police's response being so inept. Is it really possible that they aren't familiar with what went on in Cologne?

I wouldn't consider it a 'screw up' when the police laugh off reports of rape, and hang up on the caller who reported it.

Absolutely! The alt-statistics are in, and German police, while enjoying a flawless case record on non-Muslim/migrant rape cases...probably because those don't exist. Clearly Germany has quietly implemented Sharia, where rape of white folk is not only allowed, but rewarded with a special cheese platter when they get to heaven...Obama is to blame.
 
Where the distress call handler sure bungled things as far as staying "with the caller" is concerned, what the article fails to mention is that three patrol cars were dispatched immediately.

Doesn't make the atrocious handling by the call handler any better.

Yes...many of the folks that post these articles in political forums have more rigid hardons over the subject than the alleged rapists.

Terrible case of police foul up...and would have been, regardless of the ethnicity or country of origin or method of entry into the country of the rapist.

second part: display of dishonesty by means of posing loaded questions. As, one might add, is your habit as well.

Summary: As worthless and dishonest a thread as when you post a doctored blurb tube vid which corrupts a perfectly correct German TV feature, and as worthless as your previous attempt in trying to put the Berlin subway kicking onto a Muslim immigrant (the perp showing as having been neither).

Nope- you are one that propagates hatred against a minority. you fail to understand that is what ISIL, AQ and others want.
A divided society, mistrust and hatred rampant, and the repercussions will be significant.

Especially when the "presented" cases are revealed as bogus, the poster nevertheless remains his stance of "well, could have been......"

As such there's currently one thread of his in this very subforum where his only response to a suspect being released on account of suspicions having shown to hold no substance, consists of holding the German cops to have bungled it once again. :roll:

Agreed, even where the true story is that the cops reacted with the appropriate speed. That doesn't make the handling of the distress call itself any less atrocious.

But that's not what the poster is about.

Here it is, now you'll blame me and conservatives for Isis, AQ, and Islamic terrorism. Yes it's far easier to attack me than it is to attack this religion which seems to have a never ending supply of terrorists within it. Pure cowardice.
