Trump lies in attack on London attack

People shouldn't be alarmed by the police presence, no. Wait, you didn't know that was the point did you? Probably because Trump never gave you that context.
Warning people not to be alarmed by police presence after a terrorist attack is disingenuous at best. That's like warning someone who's just been run down in the street not to be alarmed by the arrival of the ambulance. You Trump-bashers are shameless. Give it a rest for Chrissakes.

Sounds like a reasonable statement to me, as opposed to "a lie!" regardless whether the alarm is caused by large numbers of police suddenly appearing, or due to the cause, another "terror" attack.

Just another smear post misrepresenting what was actually said in the worst possible light. :coffeepap:

What do you call this?

This was BEFORE that idiot Mayor gave his message to the UK people.

How do express the need for armed troops on your streets in a positive light?

Tomorrow Trump leaves the toilet seat up, and the left loses it's mind.

Stop it!!! You will NOT corrale the chickens running around with their heads chopped off!!

Are you ****ing serious?

He completely misrepresented what the mayor was saying so he could attack the mayor.

Why can't you be honest?

You are confused. His message was that cops are all over the city so a nearby military presence does not imply immediate jeopardy that could induce a panic.

Do you have the slightest clue what cities are like, have you ever been to one?

You are defending someone who called moderate Muslim's ...........Uncle Tom's.

He also said that terrorism is par for the course in city life, or words to that extent.

Would that mean someone else had lied?

Trump is a gift to ISIS/AQ.

I'm not confused as to what you and the other spin doctors are up to. I've lived in New York City my whole life, and I know bull**** artists when they start talking. I've also studied language most of my life, and Trump's remark, far from being "out of context," in fact places the bromide in its proper context and outs it as the bromide it is.

Yawn. More empty and vacuous rationalizations of the manboy idiot in the WH.

Khan was informing people in London not to be alarmed by the increased police presence in the city following the attack. Period. Trump clearly misrepresented what Khan said. That's not saying something 'reasonable'.

“Londoners will see an increased police presence today and over the course of the next few days, there’s no reason to be alarmed."

Compare what the mayor said:
"You will see an increased police presence today, including armed officers and uniformed officers. There is no reason to be alarmed by this."

To what the narcissistic, misogynist so-called president, lying liar, l'll donny said:
"At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"

The mayor said "BY THIS", this being the increased police presence, NOT the terror attack.

What a douchebag the narcissistic, misogynist so-called president, lying liar, l'll donny is!!!!
..and double for the trumpette apologists.

A direct quote is always helpful ~

Shows you can always be surprised when a poster you think makes sense turns out to be a hardcore Trump supporter. Here's the full statement by Sadie Khan.

~ or words to that extent.

That's the point. You didn't read his full statement and context and believed Trump's idiot son when he deliberately misrepresented what Khan said. Like father, like son - the pair are fools.

Yeah, a Trojan Horse.

?

I mean a paranoid codger criticizing allies, whose reactions are predictable and dim witted.

Obviously not, as you are pro Trump. Next.

No, it's warning them so they don't assume the police presence means another attack has occurred. You Trump cultists will do absolutely anything to retroactively justify whatever bull**** he says. Mental gymnastics 2017 finalist right here.

Nonsense. You're clearly attempting retroactive justification when the full context proves you wrong. Trump implied the mayor was saying don't be alarmed by the terrorist attack. This is a lie, and you are defending it.

What a quaintly delusional thing to assert.

I saw Khan's video, so I don't know what your are talking about here. What does he mean by Uncle Tom? You tell me.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan said:
“There aren’t words to describe the grief and anger that our city will be facing today. I’m appalled and furious that these cowardly terrorists would deliberately target innocent Londoners. There can be no justification for the acts of these terrorists and I am quite clear that we will never let them win. My message to Londoners and visitors to our great city is to be calm and vigilant today. You will see an increased police presence today, including armed officers and uniformed officers. There is no reason to be alarmed by this. We are the safest global city in the world. You saw last night as a consequence of our planning, our preparation, the rehearsals that take place, the swift response from the emergency services tackling the terrorists and also helping the injured.”

That isn't remotely like what Trumps tweet attempts to portray. Either Trump misunderstood Mr. Khans words above or he purposefully distorted those reassuring words.

I saw Khan's video, so I don't know what your are talking about here. What does he mean by Uncle Tom? You tell me.

Why are you deflecting?

Khan said don't be alarmed by the police presence. Why do you think people should be afraid of cops? Are you afraid of cops?

The partisan hackery "they did it first" excuse. That didn't take long.

Partisan hackery aside Trump DID take Kahn's comment out of context as has been shown here by a few posters who actually read the article. Trump then responded inappropriately as he often does - I assume because he doesn't or can't read an entire article either.

Texting condolences and offers of support to another world leader is a politically motivated act and beyond that it's plain tacky, without class, cheap. To top it off Trump took the opportunity to stand on the backs of dead people in London to pimp his Muslim ban. Kahn and non-Trumpian partisans know full well what Trump did.

I said nothing about "they did it first". I was simply pointing out the hypocrisy of those complaining about Trump doing it.

I'd love to stick his idiot head face first in a toilet.

What a F'ing National Embarrassment.

Oh come on...if a Mainstream Media hack can say it...you should, too. Don't hold back.

but but but that negates the meme

I didn't deflect........I responded to a comment in regards to my saying that Khan called moderate Muslims Uncle Toms. Keep up, or stay out of it.
