What? The average income in Israel is $2,572 per month for an individual, for an average income of just shy of $31,000 for a single person. That is well within the OECD expectations, and decently ahead of some other countries.

As to preference on where to set up residence, for probably most Jews it's a comfort to know that there is a Jewish homeland. That doesn't mean that everyone wants to live there as long as other opportunities appear safe and offer (in personal and thus individual perception) greater benefits.

Yearly in the US is $62,462 https://www.fool.com/investing/general/2016/05/14/what-is-the-average-income-in-the-us.aspx you need to go to the airport and tell the Israelis they have it wrong by moving here.

thats true, they do have a fall back position. I have talked to Israelis in Ft Lauderdale that say they moved here for opportunity.

Average =/= Median. According to the US Census Bureau the median household income in the US is about $55,000-57,650 when correcting for underreporting. By contrast the average net household income in Israel is about 15,247 NIS which converts to about $4,265, which is about $51,180. The big difference is that cost of living in Israel is very high, comparable to if the entire United States lived in a purchasing market similar to New York City (not a perfect analogy but close).

There was a bomb at the Jewish center around the corner from where I lived a while bas as there was an old folks home burnt down, which most of the elderly ecsaped a number of years ago. There a a lot of refugee homes torched and there have been a number refugees murdered. The NSU killers were less effective than might have been, had they used a bomb in a mosque. So you are right, violence against refugees is not so bad for such a big country.
But you are right that the numbers killed are comparatively few for such a big country.

I do. They visited 11 countries in Europe over 3 months. They bought a new VW pop top van, ordered in the US and picked up in the Netherlands and traveled all over.
They kept a daily log book and one of the kids kept a diary of daily events to present to school when she returned. They also have all their maps with the routes they took. Traveling as a family, the locals were more forthcoming and talkative. They are appalled about the state of affairs in Europe today.

So while you seem desperate to minimize the situation, both articles you cite AFFIRM the allegations of MULTIPLE attacks.

The attacks range from a few months ago to up to two weeks ago. So...why is it exactly that you are desperate to minimize the very obvious anti Semitic attacks that are ongoing?

Not just Germany. There has been an significant increase in Jews leaving Europe in general, as antisemitism has dramatically increased. France has the highest numbers. At least this boy wasn't actually gunned down for being a Jews, like the Jews at the Kosher supermarket in France so it's a step up eh? Nothing to see here.

Time will tell. It wasn't that long ago that Republicans couldn't run away from Bush fast enough. Today you can hardly find anyone who will admit they even voted for him...and the same will happen with Trump

YOUR initial response was all about the meh.

The kid in question was insulted by one (ONE) fellow pupil months ago who told him "you're actually quite cool but I can't be your friend because all Jews are murderers".

The kid who said that left the school some time ago.

The "beating and kicking" consisted of two (TWO) other kids, weeks later, taking the target into a half-Nelson at the local bus stop and "threatening" him with a toy gun, shouting "Hey, you Englander".

School management reacted to the first incident immediately by holding a class seminary over it with cooperation of social workers .

The second incident was immediately reported to the police and the two perps of the bus stop are being expelled.
Due to the ethnic mix of my origins I was bullied far worse in school (physical injuries included) until I started beating the crap out of the bullies myself.
Meanwhile there isn't any sign of the Grand Mufti's hordes walking in step with the brown shirts but the sun rose in the East this morning and is scheduled to do the same tomorrow

In other words...heh...no big deal...nothing to see...just a little fun and games and not a single mention of the anti-Semitic response. You want it to be a big "nothing to see here folks...just like all the other incidents...nothing to see...carry on. keep walking...keep walking....
