Swedes are Being Treated Like Suckers by Refugees

The Swedish word uppgivenhetssyndrom sounds like what it is: a syndrome in which kids have given up on life. That's what several hundred children and adolescents have done — literally checked out of the world for months or years. They go to bed and don't get up. They're unable to move, eat, drink, speak or respond. All of the victims of the disorder, sometimes called resignation syndrome, have been youngsters seeking asylum after a traumatic migration, mostly from former Soviet and Yugoslav states. And all of them live in Sweden.

What a whopper of a lie that NPR is selling here. The story says that Sweden is the only country so far to take these lying refugees seriously:
The children go into these comalike states when their families are notified that they will be deported. The only known cure is for their families to receive residency permits allowing them to stay in Sweden.

These girls (are they almost all girls, I have a feeling they are) are right out of Victim Culture Central Casting.

Honestly? I'd lay like a dead fish in the middle of Time's Square if I had to in order to prevent my family from being deported back to a literal war zone.

Germany is deporting refugees back to literal war zones now. This is really as easy as making abortion legal. They declared Afghanistan a safe country of origin.

let me finish that sentence, professionals who are probably elite leftists who are trying to keep their clients in the country.
It's amazing that this phenomenon has only been documented in Sweden, not in the US, not in France, not in the UK, not in Norway, or virtually anywhere else. that says to me, there is some fabrication going on.

so it's fake, because the exact same people suffering these stresses in the home countries do not suffer there, only in Sweden.

This is like an Onion article, and not responding to actual medical treatment but getting better when told family will get visas, that is so self serving, such an obvious motivation and incentive structure, and there's no documentation of this occuring elsewhere, probably because someone tried it in Norway and got booted anyway and there's no incentive since it doesn't work

Well, they must think that feigning to have a debilitating illness is still better than not having to feign an illness they might befall in their home country, you know, death.
 
I don't know a whole lot about this situation, but if they are discussing stress, the symptoms of PTSD often occur AFTER one is removed from the stressful situation or environment, so what it happening to these girls could be clinically credible.

The great majority of asylum seekers here in Sweden come from a fictitious war zone. And an even greater majority are men. Women and girls are few.
