I read the article

Really?

Obviously, you didn't understand it then, hence the totally illogical claim that it was Brexiteers who voted against Mays deal when the opposition came almost entirely from Remainers in the Labour Party, LibDems etc?

Not really a surprise since 'having your cake and eating it' has been the default UK negotiating strategy all along.

Negotiating a great deal when the opposition, had months before arrogantly claimed that the UK could not have its cake and eat it, was masterful.

I predicted that the EU would have no choice to give in due to the effect a no deal could have on the already ailing German motor industry.

They caved in big time......giving rise to all the whinging here by bitter Remainers.

Winners are grinners.

at the moment the economy seems to be booming

It certainly is, to the intense disappointment of all those bitter Remainers who have been predicting the exact opposite ever since the result of the Brexit vote.

As evidenced on this thread.

Boris the moron, just announced he wanted "compromise from all sides" on the Northern Ireland Protocol.

**** NO! You backstabbing bastard agreed to said protocol and you better implement it word for word or suffer the consequences. Enough is enough.. the UK has had plenty of time to implement the protocol.

Thank heavens the British didn't have the same arrogant attitude when allowing EU fishermen to keep fishing in British waters.

Bitterness and anger is the domain of idiots who are invariably unhappy in their personal lives.

It was great to see all the G7 leaders mingling together in Cornwall. This is how people with character behave.

1) The British DID allow EU fishermen to fish in British waters because they are contractually obligated to do so. British fishermen sold fishing rights to non British fishermen decades ago. The difference for EU fishermen before Brexit and after, is minimal. However for British fishermen, it is industry destroying.. THAT is what Boris and Brexit has done.

2) The only one who are bitter are Brexit morons who have realized that is damn cold on the outside and that you are in fact less free to do what you want. Even now, Brexit morons are willing to throw Northern Ireland under the bus and restart a civil war in the UK... just so they can hide their money from the taxman and British people and allow in more dirty money from Russia and elsewhere.

3) It is the UK that constantly wants to break signed international agreements, which makes them untrustworthy and will endanger any so called freedom they think they got from leaving the EU, as no one will want to do trade deals or any deals with the current UK government because they are dishonest deal breaking assholes. So the only deals the UK can get, are pathetically poor deals like the one with Japan and Australia, which are in fact worse deals than they had when they were in the EU with said countries.

The EU are not bitter.. they live in the real world and the EU and its people will not bend over to please the British. Welcome to the harsh reality of being a small nation with no friends.... deal with it an move on, but do NOT break already agreed treaties and deals, as that will hurt the UK far more than anyone else.

you are in fact less free to do what you want.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. And unless you are one severely deluded person, you know that.

All EU members are committed to decisions made by the EU.

The UK now has full control over its borders and is now decides who lives and works in the UK. Something it could not do as a member of the EU due to the "freedom of movement rules.

Heck, even 10 year olds know that.

Instead of making up nonsense, why not read up on what the EU is all about :

"the bloc’s twenty-seven members agree to pool their sovereignty and delegate many decision-making powers to the EU."

If you think that makes members more free than they were before joining, then I can only shake my head and move to more sensible debate.

Duh!

Obviously, it's in the UK/EU Brexit trade deal.

The UK did not have to agree to it and, in any case, the deal only stands until 2026 :

"The UK would have the right to completely exclude EU boats after 2026"

"UK fishing boats will get a greater share of the fish from UK waters"

"That shift in the share will be phased in between 2021 and 2026, with most of the quota transferred in 2021"

The only one who are bitter are Brexit morons

Er, that is certainly not true.....as this site proves.

The bitter whingers here are all Remainers.

Whilst those who support Brexit couldn't be happier with how Brexit has turned out.

Try reading a few posts.

You've been bitter and angry about the Brexit referendum from before I started contributing here, for quite a few years now.

Welcome to the harsh reality of being a small nation with no friends

That statement couldn't be more absurd and ridiculous, especially with all the worlds leaders being the guest of the British government and the Queen in Cornwall.

Your bitterness is yet again getting the better of you.

You're sounding increasingly hysterical.

Just reflects how much the owner has shorted the British pound and stocks.. they getting desperate.

Er, actually the FTSE has just reached all time highs.

And the British pound is now worth US$1.41. At the time of the Brexit referendum it was worth US$1.37.....so the pound is actually stronger now.

So you can make silly statements if you like, but the facts don't support them at all.

"Joe Biden 'unimpressed' by bitter bloc's Brexit own goal"

There was never any upside for the EU in Brexit.

I feel their pain.

German MEP, Gunnar Beck on EU hypocrisy :

"And I'd like to remind the EU that it has basically floated all its Treaty rules in relation to the euro, its fiscal rules, migration rules, there's hardly an aspect of the EU Treaty which the EU has observed itself."

"So the EU has a habit of disregarding its own rules and when it comes to imposing them on others, where they think their rules are in accordance with their interests, they are absolutely inflexible."

It is EU hypocrisy and lack of honesty that is really pissing off many former Remainers.....those with an IQ over 100 anyway.

Daily Nazi Express does not count as a source.

You do know what short selling means right?

Gunnar Beck... AfD candidate... which means the new Nazi party. He is a nazi.

But then to you, anyone who disagrees with you is a Nazi.

You do know what short selling means right?

Yes, I trade daily on European and Australian stock markets.

You obviously need a lesson on what it is. My charges are very reasonable.

Daily Nazi Express does not count as a source.

Ok...so now not only is a MEP a Nazi but also a UK top selling newspaper.

Maybe you should look closer to home to find REAL Nazis.

You are sounding paranoid.
