Seems the DUP will vote against the deal and I suspect the ERG will too.

For them, that's the way to hard Brexit and it's also the way for a short period of time to keep the Union together.

Dominic Raab this morning selling the deal and Northern Ireland's situation as a "win, win, win as they retain access to the single market and they get to stay within a free trade area..."

Well, with the Letwin amendment just passed, another one into the kisser of Boris. Groundhog Day 4.0 as feared.

Hilarious with May stating how she was experiencing déjà vu , to then contribute towards it most profoundly once again with her recording of the needle stuck in the vinyl groove (only way to avoid a no-deal is to vote for the deal).

No, Theresa, no. And refusing to learn anything at all, you show to have remained as stupid as you always were.

As to the Letwin amendment itself, just another expression of how absolutely nobody trusts Boris, respectively those behind him. Hence the obvious need (seen by all those who voted it thru today) to prevent him from taking the UK into a crash-out that happens by default by his finding some way (as still suspected) of circumnavigating the Benn Act.

Well done Boris indeed. Is there anyone (even on your own side) that you haven't pissed off by now?

UK lawmakers delay Brexit vote and force Boris Johnson to ask for deadline extension

I was busy watching the rugby as we beat Australia 40-16 so had a far more peaceful and enjoyable day than I thought I would.

I've stopped hoping... most of the lemmings would vote the same way for Brexit as they did last time. Watching interviews in Sunderland just now, people still wanting Brexit but with no factual basis for their desire. The EU are fed up, BoJo promised his deal would get through and Macron / Merkel must be absolutely fed up by now.

I don't want Brexit but this should have happened 3 years ago with a Brexiter PM in charge so that the campaign to re-enter could have started.

    The hiatus is just painful.

Boris Johnson, frustrated in his Brexit push, calls for Dec. 12 election

The British Prime Minister said if lawmakers want more time to scrutinize his Brexit deal, “they can have it, but they have to agree to a general election on Dec. 12.”

    Re: How will Brexit go?***W:46]***

Macron is holding out against yet another Brexit extension, he's already blocked the potential accession of two new members recently and seems to want to get on with reform and the business of the EU rather than the damage of Brexit.

Can't say I blame him - many thought BoJo needed Hungary's Orban to block the extension - Macron would have done it for free especially if we have bribed Hungary in some way. Whatever happens, the second stage - negotiations over the shape of deals between the UK and EU are still to be sorted and will be as protracted as Brexit itself has been.
