Even that most Brexity of papers has noticed something wrong!

Hillarious...

Despite multiple Tory appointments to the BBC management hierarchy, there are still pockets of resistance not pushing the government line.

Hillarious...
Nice headline but let’s hear how the EU controls us...

As it happens I think Boris has turned out to be a bit of a dick...especially over lockdown ...he’s either a coward or a liar.

He's always been both. That's how he rose in the Tory party.

The BBC is a dead man walking...most people hate the ****ing thing.

The U.K. is Norway’s biggest trading partner...so I think they do give a damn lol.

The poster you replied to was obviously unaware of that fact.......and so was I.

Even that most Brexity of papers has noticed something wrong!

Yet more fake news.

Surely you can't be so misguided that you think that Ben Habib (who is a political opponent of the Tories) speaks on behalf of the Daily Express which is unashamedly pro-Tory?

The fact that the Express publishes an article by an opposition politician who does not support the Tories reflects extremely well on the credibility of the British press.

THE EU's economy continues to be on the brink of collapse as the bloc's banking system is set to cause serious economic decline.

The free world needs a strong EU, so this is bad news.

"London’s ‘super-prime’ luxury property market was world leader in 2020"

Hmmmm! The project fear remainers have been telling us for several years now that the rich and famous will be leaving after Brexit!

Who will Northern Ireland choose?

They have it too good with the U.K...the Irish have complete access to our welfare, housing and can even join our armed forces...they’ll want to keep it that way...plus they won’t want all the trouble from the loyalists that would come their way....they could not deal with that level of terrorism....their armed forces and security are not capable.

Who will Northern Ireland choose?

I hope the people of Northern Ireland choose to join the Republic of Ireland, but will support whatever the majority of people there decide.

One of my daughters lives in Midleton, Cork and loves it there. Personally, I find Ireland far too wet and boggy for my liking.

Sending in the patrol boats:

Saw the interview of the so called "minister" in charge on Jersey.... what a shady looking guy. Other than that, he was using the same bullshit bureaucratic excuse that has been going on in England proper when it comes to getting right to stay for EU citizens. Some of the French fishermen, who had most likely fished in the waters for decades, suddenly had to provide historical information on the right to fish to get new permissions to fish in Jersey waters...Guessing a previous permission is not enough.. it has to be pre EEC membership or something stupid like that.

It reminds me of the German woman, married to a Brit, 2 or 3 kids, who worked for the British state and had been there for 40 years,... she was told that she needed more proof of her link to the UK to be able to stay... I mean wtf? Or the woman who was an English teacher for decades in the UK, but needed to provide proficiency in the English language evidence... Basically I smell intentional crap by the British to create an incident to distract away from something else.... the UK has done it time and time again with Gib after all.

Of course, unlike Gibraltar, Jersey didn't actually get to vote in the Brexit referendum on account of the UK's 'constitution'.

Some of the French fishermen, who had most likely fished in the waters for decades,
Er, you appear to have forgotten that the UK is no longer a member of the EU. The French now have no legal right to fish in British waters.

I smell intentional crap by the British to create an incident to distract away from something else...

i smell the usual anti-British crap that is ALWAYS a feature of your posts.

Emmanuel Macron faces a debt of £2.3 trillion.

FRANCE is on course to be the EU's next ‘black swan' as it creaks under the weight of a dizzying £2.3trillion in national debt"

'Brexit more popular than ever'

"Remainers lose faith in EU as new poll shows support drop"

"YouGov pollster Peter Kellner said how new polling figures from Bloomberg and other polls show "Brexit is now more popular than it has been at any point since the 2016 referendum".

Wow! Hartlepool goes to the Conservatives :

"Hopes of a Labour revival under Sir Keir Starmer have suffered a blow after the comfortable by-election win. The Leave-supporting North East constituency went blue for the first time in its 47-year-old history, as Boris Johnson demolished another brick in Labour’s so called “red wall”.

Labour has seemingly become too elitist and woke for the taste of many working class Brits.

There is a dire need for a party in the UK that provides effective opposition to the Tories.

If Scotland goes independent one day, the Tories hand on the reigns of power in the UK will grow even stronger as they will no longer have to deal with the many anti-Tory Scottish MP's.

The U.K. is Norway’s biggest trading partner...so I think they do give a damn lol.

https://www.great.gov.uk/markets/norway/
No, the EU is Norway's biggest trading partner, nearly 60% that Norway exports goes to the EU, and last time I checked nearly 60% is a bit more than 18%. Sure the UK is an important trade partner, even the single biggest but as said, still not even 1/3 of what they export to the EU.

And yo do know that trading partner goes both ways? Because Norway only imports 5% of it's imports from the UK. So sure, you buy loads from Norway and they buy almost nothing back. That is not a biggest trading partner, that is one of the biggest net wins for Norway.

Also, Norway is in a trade deal with the EU that makes it part of the Schengen accord, has free movement of capital, goods, services and people with the EU.

Let us see, if they want to export to the EU (which the UK desperately wants) they have to comply with all the laws and rules the EU has on products sold in the EU and now the UK has ZERO say in these rules and regulations the UK has to comply with if they want to sell to the EU.

The same would go with travel, visitors, etc. etc. if the UK wants to make a deal with the EU in which they have free access to the EU. Then the UK will have to comply with EU rules, regulations and laws and again ZERO say in what these laws/rules/regulations will say.

So before the UK had to deal with the rules from the EU on some issues but had a large say in how these rules were made, now it still will have to comply with EU rules on anything related to UK exports to the EU and have NO say in how the rules are made.
