But most government officials are competent, I am not so sure about Gove having any competency.

I should post a picture on here of my late family member receiving a statue of De Gaulle in 2000 from the mayor of the village of Bonnay in France in recognition of his part in liberating their village. Several of his comrades died doing so and he had his Sherman tank blown up a short way outside the village. The whole village turned out to honour him. Their attitude was so much different to yours. They were so grateful. It was probably the most memorable day of his life. I should know. I was there.

They were able to watch how fast the Brits and their allies could run, even faster than the German armies and that is very fast.

And yet immigration from the EU is down. EU unemployment is 80% higher than the UK and the EU has just made a huge mess of their vaccine roll out.

The UK can be very thankful its no longer part of the EU.

It got out just in time.

I am not a remainder

I am happy the UK left, that will help the EU evolve into something closer, more like what the US was back when it was founded. The last thing the world needs is another European war

I agree that the EU should help stop another war.

Germany is unlikely to again attempt to invade other European nations whilst it is virtually controlling them through the EU.

This is the greatest advantage of the EU for many EU citizens.

The UK has no such fears of a German invasion.

They ran so fast that they littered the country side with their equipment, for the Dutch to clean up. They needed private sailing boats to save their sorry arses and left everything at the beaches.
The only thing that saved their arses, the Germans ran out of fuel and supplies.
If the Brits and their Allies run, they run fast and hard, world record speed.
And than they needed big brother, to make a show, the US.
Nearly got wiped out by a few subs

Which is nonsense really, Germany for example is more influential, because the only body that made the UK somewhat influential is now going on (very happily) without them (the EU) and the unmistaken leader of the EU is Germany.

Also, influential ranking is about as a soft description as one can find.

Great, more nonsense. And my comments about Trophy wife nr. 3 were accurate. She was complicit in her husbands pathetic presidency and her Be best campaign was a joke really, at least when it came to her participation in it.

Whilst those here who are bitter and feeling rejected by the UK because of Brexit continue to spew insults at UK leadership. The same leadership that has shown the EU how to manage a vaccine rollout. The same leadership whose nation has a far lower unemployment rate than the EU.
