Nigel Farage, Trump's new best British buddy has been angling for a knighthood, having made his career from playing the "anti-establishment" guy. He is reportedly bitter at not getting one, and this morning on Russia Today, they had a little girl in a princess costume "Knight" him. The next moments were shown on the Channel 4 evening news. As Farage rose and walked back to join the the host, the little "princess" said "My mummy says you hate foreigners!" :lamo:lamo

Rumour has it that it was scripted, but Farage didn't know!

So this girls mother believes MSM propaganda. What is the big deal, besides pushing that same narrative yourself?

Farage knighted. Video at link.

The little girl takes a very scripted breath before saying her line. Still funny though.

What is funny is people think he is motivated by hate. Well, not too funny.

RT thought it was funny enough to spring it on him! Has he gone out of favour again? I don't suppose there's much call for a racist ex party leader/LBC disc jockey on the international stage.

Nice to know he worked for a living.

**** Farage and the Establishment politicians and talking heads that have supported him in the past... FFS

With Farage being a proven blatant and pathological liar, what does that make people coming to his defense?

trump and Bannon for two

and another one in this very thread for three.
:lamo.

It's beginning to look like half of trump's cabinet and inner circle.

I'm hoping the dossier dude lives long enough to testify before the Senate, though numerous GOP chairs and lawmakers have compromised themselves.

House Intelligence Chair Nunes threatened reporters yesterday over what they print .

Yeah, but seeing how this is the Europe forum, I'll refrain.

It's a constant source of bafflement how high profile Farage and his bunch are on the national scene, given that they have only one MP. (and he defected from the Conservatives!) The leader lost the latest of a long line of "breakthrough" by-elections, yet they make virtual weekly appearances on the BBC flagship "Question Time" political anel show. The BBC point to their need to offer balance, but they overbalance!

True enough.

I don't even see why Tony BLiar keeps getting platforms shoved under his feet, even where the BBC in his case is just one of many.

Easy, they may be insignificant in Westminster but their followers are incredibly vocal. Watch any Brexit story with a discussion thread on the BBC and you can see massed ranks of well organised Brexiteers. A large number are also Russians or similar posing as Brits.

That UKIP does not transfer into MPs is of course relevant, but not so much as over half the population voting for BREXIT. UKIP, are relevant whether we like it or not. And will continue to be relevant until Labour once again appeal to the white working class. And as is abundantly clear, with Corbyn at the helm there's little chance of that anytime soon.
