The story was a complete lie. The retraction isn't going to go viral like the lie did, so the meme remains, as you amply demonstrate.

A joke circulating in Germany when I worked there was the fictional headline

"Women put husband in meat grinder, Bild the first to interview the mince"

Generally one couldn't read the paper any other way than holding it horizontally, any tilt having the blood drip all over the reader.

That said, still a bunch of choirboys compared to some of the British rags.

And remember the abuse here heaped on anyone who had doubts..... I see from subsequent posts that despite a newspaper apologising and the police prosecuting the creators of the story, some posters refuse to accept.

The "alt-right/alt-fact" movement is going to be responsible for some serious dumbing down of the human race.

Some background on Islam and rape.

The mass rapes being played out in Europe right now by Muslim migrants is not surprising if you know much about Islam. Of course the trouble is, most folks do not know much about Islam. Sadly this even goes for Christians, some of whom at least should know better.

I recently posted a short quote by someone else on Islam and rape, and I had various Christians in a bit of a tizzy over it, claiming I was mis-quoting from the Koran. I assured these critics that I (and the person quoted) was doing no such thing. As we chatted, it soon became clear that my critics certainly had no collections of the hadith, nor were they aware of the quality of various translations of the Koran.

Islam of course only regards the Arabic Koran to be authoritative, and frowns upon translations. But some English translations are better than others, and we must always be aware that some translations have been toned down or modified for Western consumption.

So you basically ignore that one of the stories you pilloried others for this past year was fake and hope that other stories are real. Instead of deflecting this thread from the subject of fake news, why not start your own thread about the stories you feel are real?

I am not deflecting. The fake story is the deflection from the real story of wholesale rape by migrants and or refugees.

You're not getting this fake incident mixed up with a real incident , are you?
